The Team

The Lending Tribe is a key part of ING Wholesale Banking, focusing on delivering top-notch Lending products and services. You'll be part of the Data Analyst Center of Expertise, collaborating with squads in various product areas and expertise centers. Our team is dedicated to digital transformation, improving processes, and staying competitive and compliant. We value collaboration, innovation, and a customer-centric approach.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will:

• Bridge analytics and IT teams: Bring a data-driven perspective to the business.
• Leverage data analysis skills: Use statistical techniques to uncover valuable insights.
• Produce data insights: Utilize SQL, PowerBI, Cognos, and other tools to create reports and dashboards.
• Develop and automate reports: Provide regular updates (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually).
• Design and enhance data structures: Ensure accuracy and integrity of data.
• Collaborate with industry experts: Work with data analysts, data scientists, and other professionals.

• Have experience with large datasets and relational databases (SQL).
• Be skilled in data preparation and data modeling/analysis.
• Work collaboratively with data engineers and scientists.
• Thrive in a team environment.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics). An advanced degree or strong academic record is a plus.
