We're looking for passionate individuals to join the ING Australia team as we expand our Business Banking department. We are specifically seeking experienced Digital Product Owners and Traditional Product Owners to elevate the banking experience for our Business Banking customers.

Key skills required for these positions include a solid background as a Product Owner and Business Analyst, the ability to craft user stories, experience as a scrum master, proficiency in managing both onshore and offshore teams, and effectively bridging the gap between tech and business in an agile setting.

Joining the Delivery Tribe within the Business Bank offers a distinctive chance to influence the future of banking. In this role, you will lead strategic technology initiatives aimed at digitalising and automating the Daily Banking experience for our business clientele. This pivotal role demands a focus on streamlining processes, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to digitize operations for a seamless customer journey while upholding Risk, Regulatory, and overarching ING objectives.

Share with us your preference between the Digital Product Owner and Traditional Product Owner roles, along with examples of end-to-end delivery projects you have successfully managed in the past.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the development and implementation of Daily Banking digitisation initiatives – working closely with Contact Centre, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Digital, Customer Interactions, Tech & the Daily Banking tribe to develop product journeys that drive efficiency in process and improved CX.
  • Analyse moments of truth and monitor customer feedback to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience – including product, process and service improvements.
  • Hold ownership of the application and onboarding journey of the business deposit products.
  • Lead agile delivery of initiatives and ensure continuous improvement in our systems and processes.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, digitisation, or digital channels working in Business Banking domains will be preferred.
  • Experience in marketing, deposit product management, or process improvement.
  • Proven track record of leading or influencing product, channel, and customer journey improvements.
  • Extensive analytical mindset; ability to use data for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage complex issues, incidents, and remediation initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and ARIS (or similar tools).
  • Customer-centric, ensuring solutions meet customer needs.
  • Fast learner with a results-driven approach.
  • Confident decision-maker who can challenge ideas and suggest solutions.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently while handling complex tasks.
