Join ING Retail Tech PH as a Backend Engineer where you will be part of a cross-functional team of talented individuals. Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain reliable applications
Set up CI/CD pipelines
Write automated tests
Adopt a DevOps and Agile mindset
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define and design features
Incorporate security best practices into all stages of the development
Contribute to the team’s growth through mentorship and technical interview participation
Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends

Key Capabilities/Experience

Strong backend programming (Java/Spring Boot, Golang, etc.)
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
Troubleshooting using logs and alerts
Basic Bash scripting
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing, enabling efficient and reliable delivery of software.
Proven experience in building backend systems, including developing RESTful APIs, integrating with databases, and working with messaging services using modern technology stacks.
Strong software engineering foundations, with proficiency in OOP, functional programming, design patterns, concurrency, and test‑driven development (TDD).
Effective collaborator in Agile environments, with a track record of working across diverse, multicultural teams and adapting to evolving requirements.
