ING Bulgaria is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Relationship Manager to join our Corporate Sector Coverage team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the international financial environment, extensive experience in relationship management, demonstrating exceptional ability to build and maintain strong client connections. Role & Responsibilities

- Responsible for origination of business and cross-selling of the entire range of ING banking products within the designated corporate clients (local and international) portfolio.
- Identifies and creates new business opportunities, using sector expertise and mobilizing product know-how. Involves product specialists for delivery or sale of specialized products.
- Maximize revenues and profitability per client, in case of contradictions with - -- Products takes the decision in favor of the most profitable product.
- Conducts client negotiations. For more senior level discussions aimed at setting up deals involves Head of Department, CEO or other stakeholders as deemed relevant.
- Maintains existing client relationships.
- Maintains client responsibility in the execution process.
- Responsible for Client Due Diligence in accordance with ING Compliance procedures for the clients and prospects within the sector. Responsibility includes, but not limited by, proper client due diligence pre and upon establishment of a relationship as well as monitoring of activities and regular updates of general client due diligence during the life of the relationship.
- Follow up on economy, industries and international markets trends.
- Assist Lending department in structuring credit lines according to internal rules, customer needs and credit viability in close cooperation with lending people;
- Coordinates and actively helps in the preparation and submission of initial credit applications;
- Active support the process of timely preparation of interim and annual credit reviews as required by the internal ING processes;
- Ensure credit proposals are accurate and complete (together with the product people involved);
- Take personal ownership for the credit risk related to the assigned clients;
- Recognize problems as they evolve, gather and communicate all credit deterioration signals to line and credit management.
- Suggest, get approved and impose remedial steps including credit lines re-structuring, down-sizing or potential exit strategy if required together with products & other departments involved.

The successful candidate:
• Has Academic degree – University (economics, law and comparable);
• Has min 5 years of front office experience in (international) financial environment;
• Has strong background of managing relationships with large corporate clients;
• Has background and has been actively participating in new business generation initiatives and projects;
• Has good knowledge of corporate banking products such as Lending, Transaction Services, Financial markets, Working Capital solutions and etc.;
• Has result and client-oriented attitude, strong commercial abilities, negotiations and networking skills, very well organized, problem solving skills;
• Has Advanced level of English language. Computer literacy;
• Has Knowledge of the relevant local market and regulatory environment
• Has good communication abilities, creative & analytical thinking, ambition and energy, independence and initiative, integrity and is strong team player Knowledge and experience with clients in key sectors such as Energy, Telecommunications, Healthcare, Food and Agri, Metals and Mining is an advantage;
