The Remote Advice and Sales Team (RAST) was established in 2021 with a clear ambition: to handle credit applications up to €1 million in a differentiated way. These credit applications, especially aimed at the "Easy" and "Guided" segment, are centrally handled, whilst still connecting to the customer and giving them the feeling of proximity. Digital, with a human touch.
We work in close collaboration with the business advisors in the regions and aim to process a request within 48 hours to offer our customers quick clarity. Our customers are both entrepreneurs and intermediaries.
With a team of 39 enthusiastic colleagues, we are currently located in Bunnik, the office where we work about 50% of our time. The coming period will be focused on strengthening our intermediary proposition and strong growth in the segment of requests <250k (SEM). As a Remote Advisor Business with the Intermediary Desk, you are part of the team that handles the credit applications from business intermediaries who are looking for a business loan for their client. This could be in the form of a loan or a lease and up to €1 million. You are a sparring partner for the intermediaries and together with the Intermediary Advisors, also part of RAST, you build a relationship with them. In the team, you set an example in terms of cooperation, attitude and behavior. You have the just-do-it mentality, help to ensure a good atmosphere, initiate improvements within your own circle of influence and you feed the MT with points of attention outside of it.

What are we looking for?
A driven Business Advisor who always goes for the best advice to entrepreneurs and intermediaries: You are a passionate professional with the drive and energy to realize ambitions and really make a difference for our customers. You are reliable, professional, entrepreneurial, flexible, hungry for success and you know how to surprise entrepreneurs in a positive way every time. You are a real team player who, together with your colleagues, achieves goals with a focus on remote advice. But above all you are very customer-oriented, you want to offer the best service and have the personality and expertise to build a relation with intermediaries and entrepreneurs. You also endorse the values of ING and find it only natural to act in accordance with these values in your work.
Here's what we ask of you:
- Fluent in Dutch;
- Business talent;
- Great drive to close the deal;
- Hefty dose of entrepreneurship and initiative;
- Experience in writing (business) credit proposals or demonstrable experience with financial analysis. In fact, financial statements hold few secrets for you;
- The ability to play chess on several boards simultaneously: every day you work on different financing requests;
- > 4 years of relevant work experience;
- Hbo/academic working and thinking level;
- Effortless flexibility in hybrid working;
- Knowledge of banking products and services;
- Strongly developed communication skills;
- Willingness to invest in yourself;
- Eye for and knowledge of developments in SMEs.
