We are looking for you, if you:

3+ years working with Azure and/or Google Cloud (managing, administrating),
proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Azure CLI, Terraform, Bash),
direct experience in migrating applications to a cloud environment,
experience in diagnosing and solving problems with migrating application environments to Public Cloud Platforms,
have worked with CI/CD tools e.g., Azure DevOps,
experience with technologies like Containers & Kubernetes
an ability to develop using Python,
lead and execute cloud migration projects to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transition,
experience in migrating databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) to cloud environments,
collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions,
provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

English level – B2/C1

You'll get extra points for:

knowledge of other public clouds (e.g., Google Cloud Platform),
work at the intersection of public and private cloud environments,
familiar with Agile / Scrum methodology,
relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.

Your responsibilities:

building self service capabilities for other internal teams,
show an advanced understanding of cloud technologies, cloud platform operations and cloud governance with a focus on automation, analysis, modification and testing of cloud services,
design, build, implement and maintain reliable cloud platforms,
identifies, verifies and remediates inconsistent cloud configurations,
identify business and technical risks in programs, assesses their impact and proposes mitigations and contingencies,
provide stakeholder assistance throughout deployment to avoid/resolve technical issues,
working with other teams to provide the best user experience,
enable consumers to work with Public Cloud native services.

ING Public Cloud Platform adopt and provide innovative, scalable, reliable cloud native technologies in a controlled, cost-effective, and on-demand way. It enables innovations and grow ING community skills, which further result in delivering efficient, resilient and risk compliant services that helps our company to adapt securely and quickly to market requirements.

We work with various Cloud vendors, such as: Azure, GCP. As a team we, together with IT architects, decide on the technology stack and technical directions.

We are currently looking for a Senior Engineer - Azure Cloud who is eager to work with public cloud technologies.

In this role You will be working in an international squad. Our goal is to deliver and maintain cloud-native services for all ING units worldwide.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer IV”.
