Als Customer Journey Expert lever je een belangrijke bijdrage aan de ambitie van Bank Mendes Gans (BMG) om onze klanten de beste Netting & Cash Pool producten en service te bieden. Samen met de Product Owner Channels leid en beheer je de end-to-end klantreizen, van ontwerp tot ontwikkeling en implementatie. De kern van deze reizen draait om de waarde die we willen leveren aan onze klanten.

Jouw werkveld
Als customer journey expert binnen het productgebied Channels lever je een belangrijke bijdrage aan de ambitie van BMG om onze klanten via een breed scala aan digitale kanalen de beste service te bieden. In nauwe afstemming met stakeholders werk je aan de continue verbetering van onze digitale kanalen. Onze missie is om digitale toegang tot onze producten te bieden, vanaf iedere locatie en op ieder moment. Dit kan via web, mobiel, host-2-host en e-mail. Je eerste focus zal liggen op gebruikers- en autorisatiebeheer.

Deze brede scope vereist dat je snel kunt schakelen en analytische vaardigheden kunt koppelen aan de praktijk. Je wilt echt iets betekenen voor BMG-klanten en interne stakeholders. Je krijgt energie van het afronden van klantreizen en het leveren van impactvolle resultaten aan de klant. Daarnaast heb je aantoonbare ervaring met procesverbeteringen en je waarborgt de kwaliteit en stimuleert de verdere ontwikkeling van het product.

Wat ga je doen
In dagelijkse nauwe samenwerking met je Product Owner, squad, UX, communicatie en business vertegenwoordigers werk je continu aan het onderzoeken, ontwerpen, begeleiden van ontwikkeling en uitrollen van productverbeteringen, gedreven door feitelijke (klant)inzichten, vóór en na introductie. Het doel is om de gewenste waarde en uitkomsten voor onze klanten te creëren. Je zorgt er ook voor dat proposities succesvol worden geïmplementeerd en geborgd in de operationele processen van BMG.

Wie ben jij?
Je bent een enthousiaste professional die energie krijgt van het werken aan concrete en tastbare resultaten. Je bereikt dat graag door samen te werken met multidisciplinaire teams en door gezamenlijk verantwoordelijkheid te nemen voor het realiseren van het doel van je squad. Tegelijkertijd vind je het belangrijk dat iedereen zijn eigen verantwoordelijkheid heeft en dat je je eigen expertise kunt inzetten om het eindresultaat te bereiken. Klantgerichtheid is jouw primaire drijfveer.

Verder is het volgende op jouw van toepassing:

• Huidige woonplaats in Nederland
• Masterdiploma, bij voorkeur in Finance, Economie, Bedrijfskunde, Business Analytics
• Kennis van de Wholesale banking sector en/of complexe onlineproducten of diensten (bijvoorbeeld internetbankieren waar gebruikersrollen of autorisaties worden gebruikt)
• 3+ jaar relevante ervaring als Customer Journey Expert of (online) Product Manager
• Ervaring met agile scrum en affiniteit met IT
• Je bent analytisch sterk en kunt complexe problemen structureren. Jouw analyse geeft een helder beeld van verbeterpotentieel en out-of-the-box denken is voor jou vanzelfsprekend
• Je bent oplossingsgericht, in staat om complexe onderwerpen op een begrijpelijke manier uit te leggen
• Gedreven en klantgericht, je werkt graag samen met verschillende mensen
• Je vertaalt kwalitatieve inzichten naar relevante en impactvolle proposities en verbeteringen; hierdoor kun je verschillende disciplines binnen BMG verbinden
• Uitstekend in stakeholdermanagement (zoals IT, Operations en het front office)
• Vloeiend in Engels, zowel schriftelijk als mondeling
• Hybride werken spreekt je aan: minstens twee dagen per week ben je op kantoor om samenwerking en innovatie te bevorderen.
• Gebasseerd op ervaring kan deze functie ook een schaal lager of hoger ingevuld worden.

As a Customer Journey Expert, you will contribute to Bank Mendes Gans (BMG) becoming the bank which provides top-notch services and products for our customers in Netting and Cash Pool. Together with the Product Owner Channels, you lead and manage the end-to-end customer journeys from design to development and implementations. The core in these journeys is about what value we want to deliver to our customers.

Your field of work

As a customer journey expert in the Channels product area, you will contribute to BMG becoming the bank which provides top-notch services for our clients via a broad range of digital channels. In close alignment with our stakeholders, you will work on continuous improvement of our digital channels. Our mission is to provide digital access to our products when and how it suits the customer. This can be via web, mobile, host-2-host and email. Your focus at first will be on user & authorization administration.

This broad scope requires you to be able to switch fast and to connect analytical skills to practice. You really want to mean something for BMG customers and internal stakeholders. You get energized by completing customer journeys and delivering impactful results to the customer. Additionally, you have tangible experience with process improvements, and you can stand for the quality and development of your product.

What are you going to do

In daily close collaboration with your Product Owner, squad, UX, communication, and business representatives, you are continuously working on researching, designing, guiding development and roll-out of product improvements driven by fact-based (customer) insights, before and after introduction. The goal is to create the desired value and outcomes for our clients. You also ensure that propositions are successfully implemented and secured in the operational processes of BMG.

Who are you?

You are an enthusiastic professional who gets energy from working on concrete and tangible results. You like achieving that by working with multidisciplinary team(s) and jointly taking responsibility in realizing the purpose of your squad. At the same time, you find it important that everyone has their own responsibility and that you can apply your own expertise to achieve the end result. Customer centricity is your primary driver.

Furthermore, you have:

• Current residency in the Netherlands
• Master’s degree preferably in Finance, Economics, Business administration, Business Analytics.
• You have knowledge of the wholesale banking industry and/or complex online products or services (for instance internet banking where user roles or authorizations are used)
• 3+ years relevant experience as a Customer Journey Expert or (online) Product Manager.
• Experience with agile scrum and affinity with IT
• You are analytically strong and can structure complex problems. Your analysis gives a clear view on potential for improvement and out-of-the-box thinking comes natural to you.
• You are solutions oriented, capable of explaining complex topics in an understandable way.
• Driven and customer focused, loving to collaborate with different people.
• You translate qualitative insights into relevant and impactful propositions and improvements; This enables you to connect different disciplines within BMG.
• Excellent in stakeholder management (like IT, Operations and the front office). 
• Fluent in written and spoken English and understanding the Dutch language is preferable
• You embrace hybrid working, with two or more days in the office to foster teamwork and creative exchange.
• Depending on experience, this position can be filled at a lower or higher grade
