The Mission

ING Hubs Romania is looking for an experienced developer who is technically passionate, willing to take the challenges and be part of “the One” CMS solution of ING Group. OneCMS is the targeted Group solution for reliably providing web content to internal and external sites with high traffic volumes.

Your day to day

Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:

• Enjoy working in our Squad
• Create rest APIs to serve content configured in Bloomreach CMS
• Create Bloomreach CMS compounds
• Configure Bloomreach CMS to match business requirements
• Working with Spring, Java 17
• Code reviews
• Unit testing using Junit and Mockito
• Integration tests using Wiremock and Testcontainers
• Work with Azure pipelines
• Demo to other team members and stakeholders
• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies

What you’ll bring to the team

• Experience:
  • more than 3 years of Java development
  • more than 2 years with Bloomreach/Hippo CMS or equivalent
• Tech stack/ knowledge:

• Mandatory:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or relevant field

• Adaptable, proactive and willing to take ownership and responsibility.

• Experience with the Spring/Spring MVC/SpringBoot, REST APIs design and implementation

• CMS experience with Bloomreach/Hippo CMS, Adobe Experience Manager
• BDD/TDD mindset
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A team player who is open to sharing knowledge and learning from a great team of engineers
• Experience of working in a cross-functional Agile Team.
• Prepared to take the Banker’s Oath just like any other ING employee

• Nice to have:

• Experience with Kafka

• Understanding the basic concepts of cloud-based services like Azure DevOps and AWS

• Experience in continuous deployment and continuous integration

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Openshift

• Foreign languages: English (advanced)
• Education: nice to have Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an IT related field
