About the Position

Join our Leveraged Finance Portfolio Management Team, we are making 2 hires at Analyst and Associate level. Due to growth, we are expanding our team in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Leveraged Finance assets in the UK portfolio.
  • Monitor market developments and manage their impact.
  • Participate in Virtual Client Teams.
  • Promote operational excellence.

Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues from various teams including origination, transaction management, capital markets, loan distributions, risk, and legal.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications/Education:

  • University degree in business/economics, law, or a relevant discipline.

Experience/Knowledge:

  • 2-3+ years in lending execution or credit analysis in banking.
  • Exposure to specialized lending and real asset sub-sectors is a plus.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, MS Excel, PowerPoint; PowerBI is a plus.
  • Strong financial and credit analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of lending legal documentation.

Department Overview

The AF PM team manages ING’s Acquisition Finance lending exposures from initial funding to final repayment. It collaborates closely with various teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

Portfolio Management Function: Each portfolio manager covers a set of clients, handling credit monitoring, analytics, risk, and reporting. The team supports cross-buy opportunities and capital velocity targets, with support from Global Lending in Dublin and the ING hub in the Philippines.
