What You'll Be Doing

Regulatory Reporting & Exception Management

  • Analyze and resolve transaction reporting exceptions across multiple regulatory regimes.
  • Investigate reconciliation breaks and drive timely remediation activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and operational teams to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Conduct post-resolution validation and ongoing monitoring of reporting quality.
  • Support counterparty outreach activities when reporting discrepancies arise.

Data Analysis & Risk Management

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor reporting controls and contribute to the continuous enhancement of the control framework.
  • Maintain strong awareness of operational, regulatory, and reputational risks.

Process Improvement & Change Initiatives

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, procedures, controls, and technology.
  • Develop practical solutions that increase efficiency and strengthen reporting accuracy.
  • Support strategic projects and assess their impact on operational processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by challenging the status quo and promoting best practices.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with global teams across multiple geographies and business functions.
  • Communicate complex findings and risk trends clearly to stakeholders and management.
  • Build strong relationships and influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
  • Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in OTC derivatives processing, product control, middle office, financial markets operations, business management, or similar functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and control.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of global transaction reporting regulations such as EMIR, MiFID II, MMSR, HKMA, MAS, ASIC, SMMD, Canada Reporting, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with reconciliation platforms such as DUCO.
  • Track record of driving process improvements and strengthening controls.
  • Understanding of trade lifecycle management and financial markets products.
