Singapore is the regional headquarters for ING's Wholesale Banking (WB) business in Asia, which includes all WB business lines such as Financial Markets, Strategic Products, Sectors, Lending and Transaction Services and other support functions.

What does the Financial Institutions Advisory Team do in ING?

ING Financial Institutions Advisory, Asia provides strategic and financial advice to Asian financial institution clients on a comprehensive range of transactions including sell-side and buy-side advisory, mergers, public offers, management & leveraged buyouts, takeover defence assistance and corporate restructuring. We also work with the ING Capital Markets teams on Equity and Debt Capital Markets products, such as Initial Public Offerings, and (regulatory) debt capital issuances for banks and insurers.

What would you be doing?
You will provide support to the Financial Institutions Advisory, Asia Team on both origination and execution work in ING’s Singapore office.

You will primarily work with the analysts and associates and support them in the preparation of pitchbooks and company profiles / teasers, trading and transaction comparable analyses, and conduct company & industry research. There will likely be opportunities to work on live deals in Asia.

We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria:

• You should have legal work rights in the country of internship.

• Highly inquisitive with a willingness to learn and complete task correctly

• Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communicator with the ability to collaborate and build rapport within a team

• Demonstrates good time management skills and able to function well under tight deadlines
