A tailor-made wellbeing programme for every employee. And, most importantly, co-workers who dare to think and do big, just like you. Who enjoy helping one another shine and move forward. But there is more. Be ING. Discover it here.
Your salary package
We admit we expect a lot from you, but you get a lot for it in return. Because a unique ING experience also includes an adjusted remuneration policy: personalised, transparent and with your own benefits. You get a competitive salary with profit sharing, and all kinds of checks and discounts from eco to sports and culture.
An attractive salary
We appreciate the dedication of our employees. And this is reflected in the compensation they receive in return for their work. You get an attractive gross salary, depending on your job category and professional experience.
A Flex Budget
Next to your baremic salary, you will get an ING Flex Budget. Within the limits of your Flex Budget, you can opt for different benefits such as cash, a lease car, an (electric) bike, a smartphone or a pension plan. You can also exchange it for additional holiday leave. All up to you!
Profit sharing
Based on ING’s results, all colleagues who have been effectively employed for at least 3 months in the year prior to payment will receive a participation in the profit.
Reimbursement of your train or bus pass
We fully reimburse your public transportation passes for your commute to and from work. We also offer you compensation if you make use of other means of transport (e.g. bike allowance).
Telephone subscription and internet allowance
We offer an attractive telephone subscription and transfer the net sum of 20 euro to your bank account each month to reimburse you for your internet expenses. This way, you have everything you need and are able to focus on your job.
And even more
A wide range of bonus vouchers and discounts, such as meal vouchers, eco vouchers, sport and culture vouchers, supplementary child allowance and discounts at various shops. All included!
Holiday leave
Recharge your batteries during your holidays. You will be given ample time to recuperate from your work. Your holidays consist of ...
20 statutory holiday leave
Your statutory holiday leave days are allocated according to the number of days you worked in the past calendar year.
9 or 11 extra holiday leave
The number of extra holiday leave days you get depends on your job classification and the number of days worked in the current calendar year.
1 regional public holiday
Depending on where the office at which you work is located, you will be given a day off on the Day of the French, Flemish or German Community.
4 bank holidays
During bank holidays – 4 times a year – our offices will be closed and you will have a day off.
In support of your wellbeing
Your wellbeing is very important. ING wants to lead-by-example when it comes to corporate wellbeing. We are happy to help you with staying fit and living healthily.
Hospitalisation insurance
At ING you are in good hands: you can opt for hospitalisation and outpatient care via MedExel and Ethias at a very advantageous price.
Pension plan
You will build up a supplementary pension, fully paid by ING.
Vitality boost
Every employee can focus on their specific needs with our wellbeing programme, Vitality Boost, an initiative by ASCEL/VOSSCO, our social work association co-managed by ING and its union representatives, that provides Energy Journeys. These cover various areas, including physical energy, nutrition, sleep, stress, focus, resilience, work enjoyment, safe relationships, and purpose
Continuous development
Of course, we continuously invest in your growth and your skills. It’s not so much about how good you are, but about how good you can be.
Our learning offer
Thanks to a wide range of training courses, study programmes and development opportunities you will find yourself standing on much firmer ground.
Tailored to your life
Balancing the perks of working from the office and working from home? Yes, you can! At ING we understand the importance of a good work/life balance and work in a hybrid mode. We give the autonomy to our employees to let them organise their work in a flexible way that suits best for them while ensuring business continuity, customer service and employee wellbeing. This will keep you in control of your planning.
Flexible working hours
Want to start work earlier so that you can pick up the kids from school? Or would you prefer to adjust your working hours to the traffic? We try to offer the most flexible work schedules for the largest possible group of employees.
Working from home
We encourage a large group of employees (excluding customer facing employees) to work from home regularly. On top of that, you will receive 110 euro a month for working from home, and still be entitled to your meal vouchers. Additionally, a budget of 750 euro every three years is available for employees with a contract of unlimited duration to make your home office more ergonomic and comfortable.
A diverse and inclusive place to work
At ING we are committed to diversity, inclusion and belonging, not just because it is the right thing to do. We do it because we can't deliver our strategy without it.
To stay a step ahead, we need teams with a healthy mix of contrasting perspectives and backgrounds. By embracing diversity, we enhance our candidate pool, attract and retain top-tier talent, foster a deeper understanding of diverse customer segments, promote adaptability and prevent groupthink. This brings us one step closer to disrupting the status quo. At ING, diversity isn't just a buzzword, it's the driving force behind our success.
Read our Diversity Manifesto to find out more about how we commit ourselves to make ING a diverse and inclusive workplace for all. Together, we make the difference.
Environmentally aware and socially engaged
At ING, sustainability is at the heart of what we do. We have a responsibility to society to define new ways of doing business where planet and people are just as important as economic growth. We aspire to lead in banking by building a sustainable future for our company, customers, society and the environment. We embrace our responsibility in this area.
As an ING colleague, you can play an active role in building a more sustainable world. In partnership with Time4society, each year more than 1,000 ING employees donate a day of their time to local social organisations through our ING Volunteering Days initiative.
