Your Tasks
- Using expertise, spirit, and communication skills you advise customers from the German “gehobener Mittelstand” as well as multinational clients and take the lead in their financing and credit transactions.
- Your approach is holistic and you are involved in all aspects, from financial analysis to structuring transactions and preparing credit applications right up to closing transactions. You take responsibility for creating and verifying loan agreements and negotiate the legal framework with your customers.
- Closing the transaction does not slow you down: you remain involved and take responsibility for the ongoing monitoring of your client portfolio with regard to commercial and risk aspects.
- In national and international cooperation with Corporate Sector Lending as well as with other departments, e.g. Syndications, Risk Management, Legal and Client Coverage, you skilfully coordinate invitations for transactions and support the acquisition of new clients.
- The entire team benefits from your commitment, as you ensure the transfer of knowledge regarding product and market development and act as a mentor and coach to support the development of your team members.
- Last, but not least you are passionate about implementing our sustainability goals and active balance sheet management.
Your Profile
- Very good degree in economics or similar qualifications
- Several years of professional experience and extraordinary accomplishments in a transaction-driven environment
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets, corporate and credit analysis, credit products and in the negotiation, structuring and implementation of credit transactions
- Practice in negotiating and in setting up loan agreements and in strategic c-level dialog with customers
- Excellent analytical mindset, negotiating skills as well as a strong entrepreneurial mindset and approach
- Strong skills in self-organisation and stakeholder management
- Focus on sustainable business activities and responsible decision-making
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English
