Lead Finance Control

Your role & work environment
ING Lease is a market leader in the Belgian financial leasing market and offers clients a full service for the
leasing of assets for professional use: sales, back office and after care. With My ING Lease, it also shows

As Team Lead Financial Control First Line you deliver optimal financial accounting processes and solutions
for ING Lease. The departmentconsists of 2 area’s: one area forAccounts Payable & Receivableand an
area for control and reconciliations, with in total 3employees.

Your key responsibilities
You will lead the Financial Control team of ING Leaseand will guide and motivate your team to continuously improve their performance and knowledge.You will work closely together with the
management team of ING Lease whom you are going to provide analytics and insights in the financial trends and performance. Furthermore you will work closely together with the CFO, the accounting
department and the Financeand Treasury department of ING Belgium.

Financial Control oversees the various internal and external accounts of ING Lease and the daily bookings made on these accounts. In addition,the team is also responsible for the day-to-day treasury
management and controls thecorrectness of thefinancial data in the different tools.

At transaction level, Financial Control checks whether the entries are correct and anticipates incorrect entries in more complex files by making proactive arrangements with the services concerned regarding
the correct action to undertake.

As Team Lead Financial Control you :
•assure the day-to-day treasury positions and collectthe necessary funding
•coordinate the monthly closing processfor the domains you are responsible for
•collect, verify and validate the financial data provided toFinancial Accounting
•analyze the data, recognize and explain relevant trends and exceptional events
•establish the link between the accounting figures and the business
•guarantee the reconciliation between the lease administration and the financial administrationand the accounting system
•prepare documentation and support material to assist the management and business partners in their decisions
•initiate and support business processesand report improvementsin order to both increase efficiency and better meet customer needs
•document and review processes in the domains you are responsible for•assist in finance related projects

We look for
As a ManagerFinancial Control you also need:
•amaster degree in Finance or equivalent (e.g. Economics)
•5-10 years of experience in a (business) control, management accounting or financial advice position
•experience in translating complex data into sound advice

•excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in Dutch, French and English
•managerial and coaching experience
•a sense of initiative
•a good work organization
