Product Manager for Billing

Today, our Billing team is running the operational Billing for the majority of our Daily Banking fees for Private Individuals, Business Banking and Wholesale Banking. With more than 800 mio in fees yearly, it is a SOX critical process.

Over the past few years ,we have been migrating our Billing engine to our global Product, Pricing & Billing solution, EPOS. This is a cloud based solution that we procured from our supplier Zafin in Canada. With the migration completed, we can now focus on onboarding new products and support new propositions, such as Subscription Strategy. Enabling a good, better, best like package proposition to service our PI and BB customers with tailored and correct fees banking and also non-banking products and services.

EPOS is a global standard. Therefore, the platform is the target for product, pricing and billing related use cases and solutions for all ING entities. Today, EPOS is servicing Netherlands, Belgium and Australia but, the demand is growing tremendously. Next to supporting new onboarding countries, we need to keep improving our service offering. Today, our product & pricing is ready for global consumption, our Billing capabilities not yet. We need to productize our Billing offering by connecting to the global invoicing platform, connecting to the global order manager, and integrate with Datalake for Finance and reporting purposes.

To optimise our global Billing offering, and run our Billing flawlessly, we are looking for a strong principle CJE.

The team

The Digital Products Product & Pricing, and Billing are part of the area Product, Pricing, Savings and Current Accounts of the Product Family Daily Banking.

We are currently ~ 40 FTE, of which 30 with an IT profile (Ops & Dev engineers, architects) and 10 with a business profile (CJE).

We work together as Business & IT in 5 squads to deliver on our roadmap. The teams are designed around the capabilities of the application EPOS: There are 2 digital products: Catalogue & Pricing (2 teams) and the Billing digital product (3 teams).

You role and responsibilities

  • You will bring our Billing proposition to a global level
  • Implement a strategy how to roll out additional instances per country
  • You support our migration to Azure cloud (for AUS)
  • Optimise our monitoring and reporting within Billing
  • Take responsibility for SOX audits
  • Take responsibility for large projects with multiple stakeholders (e.g. Fee Due Administration component

You will be reporting to the Product Lead Billing

About you

You:

  • Have completed a university education (Master’s degree)
  • Have proven experience in the area of ​​Design
  • Have experience in achitecture or IT (pre)
  • Have experience with working Agile
  • Currently residing the Netherlands
