Lending Specialist Business Banking (Noordoost)

ING Business Banking MidCorporates is responsible for servicing the top end of the business segment, which are customers with complex product needs. Important building blocks of the ING Business Banking culture are: Accountability, Trust, Working together, Helping each other.

This method helps us as a team to deliver the best service available to our customers and is to always exceed the customers’ expectations. Together with the other members of your Client Service Team (consisting of relationship managers, associates, and other specialist such as asset based finance, trade finance, financial markets and payments) you are responsible of servicing a dedicated portfolio of customers within a specific sector.

As afinance specialistyou are an expert in business lending, capable of structuring the most complex financing solutions for Senior lending, and commercially driven to earn the deal!

MidCorporate North East is located in Zwolle, however we work at least 50/50 at home/office (Hybrid way of working) and very often visit our customers. Your customers are spread across the North-East Netherlands, and you will need to be easily visible and accessible (also online) to customers and colleagues. You are actively engaged with customers and pay them regular visits.

The Team

The Client Service Team consists of 10-15 colleagues from various disciplines and, with them, you take responsibility for exceeding customer expectations. This team responds to customer needs with a personal, honest and open approach to provide customers with maximum support.

Yourrole and responsibilities

You are an expert and analytical authority in the field of business lending. You are able to translate complex financing issues into the best practical advice for customers. But you also have the personality and commercial skills to interact directly with customers and prospects at various levels, properly assess their needs, and respond in the best way possible by using your expertise.

You will also bring as a finance specialist:

an academic degree
exceptional expertise in working with Excel and PowerPoint
at least 3 years’ experience with complex financing issues
experience in structuring loans and writing credit proposals
fluent in the Dutch language

Nice to have (preferred):

It is preferable if you have experience in one of the sectors served by ING Business Banking MidCorporates and if you have knowledge of commercial developments within the Dutch banking market.

Als financieringsspecialist(e) ben je de commercieel en deskundig specialist binnen je Client Service Team op het gebied van zakelijke kredietverlening en adviseur voor grootzakelijke klanten met veelal complexe financieringsvraagstukken. Verbinding maken, afstemmen en klantbenadering met een commerciële inslag: zo zien we je graag.

De uitvalsbasis van deze functie is Zwolle echter je een deel van je werk vanuit huis blijven doen; we hebben een hybride werkmodel. Je klanten zitten verspreid over Noord-Oost Nederland en het is belangrijk dat je (digitaal) zichtbaar en benaderbaar bent voor klanten en collega’s. Dat je je actief betrokken voelt bij klanten en dat je – als de situatie dat toelaat - regelmatig bij ze langsgaat.

Het team

In het Client Service Team werken 10-15 collega’s uit verschillende disciplines met wie je samen de verantwoordelijkheid neemt om klantverwachtingen te overtreffen. Met jou erbij maakt dit team zich sterk om met een persoonlijke, eerlijke en open benadering in te spelen op de klantwensen en zo onze klanten optimaal te begeleiden.

De rolenverantwoordelijkheden

Vakinhoudelijk en in analytisch opzicht ben je een echte autoriteit op het gebied van zakelijke kredietverlening. Je bent dan ook als geen ander in staat om complexe financieringsvraagstukken te vertalen naar het beste concrete advies voor klanten. Maar je beschikt ook over de persoonlijkheid en (commerciële) vaardigheden om op verschillende niveaus direct met klanten en prospects te schakelen, de behoefte van klanten goed in te schatten en daarop vanuit je expertise optimaal in te spelen.

Ook breng je voor de rol van financieringsspecialist(e) mee:

·een academisch diploma.

·minimaal [3 - 5 jaar] ervaring met complexe financieringsvraagstukken en zakelijke kredieten. Bijvoorbeeld als financieringsspecialist.

·ervaring met het structureren van financiering en het schrijven van kredietvoorstellen.

Gewenst (pré):

Het is uiteraard handig als je ervaring hebt met de sectoren die binnen ING Business Banking bediend worden en als je kennis hebt van (commerciële) ontwikkelingen binnen de Nederlandse bancaire markt. Echter, als jij in staat bent om je zaken snel eigen te maken, zorgen wij ervoor dat je tijdens het inwerken door je collega's wordt meegenomen in de actuele maatschappelijke, economische en ontwikkelingen binnen de relevante sectoren en de structuur en organisatie ervan.
