Senior Marketeer Subscriptions

Your team
In our department (tribe) Daily Banking & Mobile Led, we recruit new customers and intensify the digital relationship with our 7 million existing customers. The tribe entails the products and processes associated with current accounts, savings accounts, onboarding of customers and billing. Hence, we are at the heart of the bank and provide in the daily financial needs of our customers. As a Senior Marketeer you play a crucial role in the Product Current Accounts (in-life), team Subscriptions. In the team you work together with other Customer Journey Experts (product managers and marketeers), Pricing Marketeers, a Data analyst and IT engineers who are working on proposition, pricing, P&L, risk, and the IT systems. The team is responsible for the Subscription (package) strategy for the segment Private Individuals and its related customer journeys, manages the terms & conditions for private account holders and price changes.
Your challenge
We already have put the dot on the horizon for our future packages. We know what we want to offer. We really aim to offer packages that significantly differ from the past and add more value to our customers. Together with other departments, the Subscription team is now further developing and implementing them. But the success of this new strategy is fully dependent on our ability to position the subscriptions in the right way, with a superb customer centric experience. Our customers should see, feel and experience the added value of the subscriptions. A great branding & positioning mindset, combined with the ability to nudge clients to higher packages is needed to make it a success. And that’s exactly where we need you!
Your main responsibilities will be:
Media & Campaigning:
- Position the subscription’s
- Plan and execute campaigns
- Collaborating with the brand, marketing en communications department -to achieve maximum visibility and impact
Develop & implement marketing strategies
- Identify and segment different target groups
- Develop targeted marketing strategies to address the specific needs and interests of each target group
- Using data analysis to measure and improve the effectiveness of target group-specific campaigns
Drive the development of upsell journey’s
- Define which customer journeys are needed to create a commercial upsell machine
- Together with UX, design the journey’s to create an optimal customer experience
- Make sure that IT and other CJE’s implement them
About you
- A highly skilled professional with a minimum of 7 years work experience in a marketing position
- You have an academic working and thinking level
- Are fluent in English and in Dutch (verbally and written)
- Experience with marketing of subscriptions is a big plus
- Sales mentality and result driven: you work goal oriented, efficient and pragmatic
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset: you really need to explore uncharted paths
- Commercial acumen: You can balance optimal customer value and profitability for ING
- Hands on mentality: You are able to work on a high abstraction level but you also like to execute the work yourself when needed
