To achieve this, we are reinforcing our central teams to ensure consistent, high-quality training and coaching for all commercial profiles and their management.

You’ll join a dynamic team committed to building strong capabilities across our sales force and middle management, ensuring a uniform and effective way of working.

Your Role: Training & Coaching Lead (GJA 18)

Your mission is clear: equip our bankers and managers with the knowledge, tools, and coaching they need to deliver outstanding client service. As Training & Coaching Lead, you will take the lead in designing and implementing the training and coaching framework for ING Private Banking’s commercial teams.

  • Coordinate and manage commercial skills training in partnership with - at start- an external training bureau.

  • Provide managers with the tools, frameworks, and best practices to organize their own coaching sessions effectively and consistently.

  • Ensure all training content and methodologies remain up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with market best practices, so bankers are equipped to deliver the highest level of service to clients.

  • Coach middle management and bankers, supporting them in achieving their objectives and strengthening leadership capabilities.

  • Drive a uniform way of working across all commercial profiles, including canvassing and 121 coaching sessions.

  • Partner with sales managers and external experts to ensure best practices and continuous improvement.

  • Monitor training needs and anticipate resource requirements for future growth.

  • Act as a key driver in aligning expectations for leadership coaching and onboarding processes.

What Makes You Successful
We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has proven experience in training and coaching commercial teams, ideally within financial services or a similar environment.

  • Understands the dynamics of the commercial cycle and how to embed a structured cadence.

  • Is a strong people manager with the ability to lead and inspire a team.

  • Communicates fluently in Dutch, French and English (written and spoken).

  • Is proactive, structured, and able to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans.

  • Thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys building capabilities from the ground up.
