The Mission:

As AMS APIs Product Manager, you own the Core Banking API product/service and you are responsible for maximizing the value AMS APIs product creates. Your responsibilities spread around the entire life cycle of the AMS APIs product/service, starting from product vision, strategy and roadmap to planning and overseeing product delivery (development, run and support activities) having end-to-end view on purpose and ultimately the realization of the work, making sure promises are kept, while maximizing the value delivered.

Your Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Define AMS APIs product vision and establish a strategy based on long-term vision, assessing customers’ needs and working closely with your stakeholders and squad;
  • Clearly articulate and document the product definition and it’s value, elaborating pricing models and preparing the roadmap for product development & adoption. Share outcome with squad, stakeholders; identify/align dependencies. Works closely with Enterprise Architects;
  • Promote AMS APIs product/services;
  • Define product metrics and performance KPIs and use these product insights to make decisions and further improve the product/service;
  • Drive the AMS APIs squad in an Agile environment;
  • Ensure purpose and clarity for the squad, share vision, strategy and value (why);
  • You are accountable for effective backlog management: create, prioritize and update the AMS APIs backlog, and make sure it is properly refined. Assists with the elaboration/refinement of the requirements to ensure they are granular enough for the squads to deliver within a sprint;
  • Organizes all delivery and support activities to assure the SLAs and KPIs agreed;
  • Creates short term forecasts based on squad performance / velocity;
  • Continuously take initiative to improve the way of working and the collaboration with& within your squad. You frequently align with the Agile Coach, Scrum master, Chapter Leads, the IT Area Leads and other Product Managers;
  • Attend Agile ceremonies, such as stand-up, sprint planning, review and retrospective, focusing on deadlines and goals of the product and product release plan; lead POCLAC meetings;
  • Offers feedback and aligns with the chapter leads for the appraisal of people in the squad.

What you bring to the team:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a Product Owner role, Product manager or Feature Engineering role, preferable in an Agile environment.
  • Tech stack / knowledge:

Mandatory

  • Strong stakeholder management capability;
  • Willing to explore new ideas & initiatives;
  • Creative mindset;
  • Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle and IT Processes;
  • Product- and/or Project Management skills, including presentation and reporting skills;
  • Eagerness to learn and improve.

Nice to have

  • As a plus, prior experience in building / delivering an IT Service.

Education:Bachelor Degree (Technical studies, Business and/or Banking)

Foreign languages: English.
