Mission

KYC area (Know your Customer) – has the mission to keep the bank and customers safe while providing best experience for our customers. Our purpose is to digitalise internal scoring, anti-fraud and review processes, to comply with local and global regulatory standards.

Together with your team, you will work on multiple and various projects in the area (local and global road mapping) with the scope to implement the IT strategy of the tribe and evolve the existing ecosystem for both Retail and Business Bank.

As a leader of the QA team, you will play a key role in fostering an automation first mindset, increasing the technical knowledge of the chapter members. Your main mission will be to enable your engineers to grow their automation skills and get better in what they do every day by using industry best practices.

Your day to day

You will oversee a chapter of 4 engineers. Half of your time will be spent as a QA member in one of the tribe squads and the rest of the time you will cover people management and development activities: recruiting of new talents, administration, personal development, and evaluation of your Chapter members, organizing chapter meetings.

More specifically, in what concerns people management, you will:

  • Recruit, lead, motivate & mentor the team members and act as the team representative.
  • Influence the performance and career path for members in your team.
  • Act as a role model and keep up to date with industry trends, technologies, methodologies, and behaviours.
  • Provide financial and people resource plans for the area and ensure the affective allocation of people between project teams.
  • Organize chapter meetings and oversee the technical development of the chapter members.

As a hands-on contributor to squad projects, you will:

  • Help with manual and automated tasks related to squad’s ongoing projects
  • Keep track of company specific requirements, such as development methodologies, end-to-end testing, Identity and Access Management, IT Risk control, infra provisioning, Change Management, CI/CD.
  • Champion effective adoption of automation practices and increase the automation tests coverage inside the squad

What you bring to the team

Our future QA Chapter lead should meet as much of the below requirements as possible:

  • 4+ years testing experience using the Software Development Lifecycle;
  • 4+ years experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C# and .NET;
  • Solid understanding and experience of functional, regression and acceptance testing;
  • Experience with in REST & SOAP API testing and Automation;
  • 4+ years experience in Selenium WebDriver automation;
  • Comfortable with HTML, CSS, XPath, XML, Json, SQL, Docker and Azure;
  • Knowledge of Gerkin and Specflow;
  • Knowledge of Cucumber and TDD/BDD methodologies;
  • Experience with GIT and Maven;
  • Experience with agile software development methodology and practices;
  • Knowledge of one or more databases including but not limited to: Oracle, SQL Server.
