Accounting & Reporting Expert (Maternity leave coverage)

If you are attracted by the environment of an international company, but you prefer to develop your knowledge within local (statutory) accounting, then this position might suit you. You will be looking forward to a small and friendly team of accountants, where you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Chief accountant and the controlling department. As our team consists of five people, there will still be an opportunity to learn from more experienced colleagues, expand our horizons in the tax and accounting spheres, and develop their careers vertically and horizontally.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation of accounting entries in compliance with internal accounting procedures / with Slovak legislation requirements for the area of responsibility
• Ensure accounting in compliance with internal/external regulations.
• Execute monthly/yearly closing procedures (bookings, reconciliations)
• Review and approval of employee’s reimbursements, company credit card management
• Support to employees regarding travel and expense questions
• Asset management – asset additions and disposal, asset register maintenance
• Accounts receivables process - issuing invoices, communication with intercompany customers
• Cooperate within Finance with controlling and procurement. Cooperates with all the ING Hubs departments regarding the mentioned scope of responsibility
• Participation on internal accounting procedures updates
• In addition to the above-mentioned tasks other accounting activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.
