The Mission

Financial Markets (FM) is the Bank’s gateway to thecapitalmarkets around the world. Our primary function is to service the needs of ING’s clients and other INGbusinesslines withproducts, services, and guidance. FM aims to be a significant player in our market leader and challenger markets, with anadditional presence in all the major international markets and specialistexpertisein selected emerging markets and products.
Group Treasury’s(GT)overarchingobjectiveis tofacilitatebusiness development for our commercial businesses and for our Financial Markets trading.

As Domain Architect for the Pricing tribe, you will shape the target architecture forFM and Trading Riskcapabilities across Financial Markets. You will work with business stakeholders, quants, engineers, solution architects, and platform teams to ensure that pricing services, market data flows, analytics/reportingcomponents, and downstreamintegrations are consistent, scalable, resilient, and aligned with ING standards and the FM/GT target architecture. You will help simplify the pricing landscape, promote reuse of common capabilities, and guide delivery teams in making sound architecture decisions across front-to-back processes.

Your day to day

As a Domain Architect you will be part of theWholesale BankingCentreof Excellence (COE) Architecture.Youtranslate business vision and strategy into effective enterprisearchitectureby creating,communicating,and improving the key principlesand models that describe thecurrent and future state.You execute the global Business & IT Roadmap process, with centralised designs and (logical) global decompositions,analysesmarket- and IT-trends and, based on this information, contributingto the strategy of the organization.

You will:

• Facilitate efficientarchitecturedelivery, and supportthe FMGT Tribeand the businessby providing impactfularchitectureon cross domain and end-to-end complex environments;

• Work withTechand business representatives tocome to a(logical)target architecture takingrequirements, INGstandardsandstandardsolutionsinto account.

• Work with Solution Architects to translate the logical architecture into the technical/solution architecture.

• Develop andmaintainrelevant architectural artifacts, including application architectures,road maps,datamodelsand other relevant documentation.

• PerformArchitecture Management; support delivery of target architecture/solutions by quality decision making.

• Contribute to the COE Architecture organisation to improve way of working, tooling, etc.

• Trusted advisor forbusiness,IT,and fellow architectswithin yourexpertise.

What you’ll bring to the team

• A bachelor’s ormaster’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field/ equivalent work experience.

• You have at least 5 years of experience as anITarchitector similar(IT)function.

• Domain knowledge:excellentunderstanding of Financial Marketsproducts and its business processes.

• Experience inworking in ahighly regulated environment (e.g.,financial institutions)

• Curious mindset: you are up to date with thearchitecturetrendsandmarket development (vendors, other financial institutions).

• Good understanding of architecture standards and frameworks.

• T-shape knowledge profile, youhave experience“front to back”but can zoom in where necessary.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complexarchitecturetopics to various audiences.

• Ability to develop strong and collaborative partnerships with organizational leaders.

• You improve yourself constantly; and you challenge, improve and train others continuously.

• Knowledge of and experience with IT architecture methodologies, processes (e.g. TOGAF), service managementprocessesand an agile work environment.

• Knowledge of and experience witharchitecture modelling tools likeArchimate.
