General information

We’re looking for an experienced professional to oversee daily middle‑office operations across onshore and offshore teams. In this role, you’ll supervise distributed teams, ensure strong operational controls, and act as the second level of escalation for key processes. You’ll lead the end‑to‑end onboarding of new funds, portfolios and mandates into our operational and OMS setup, while managing core OMS configuration and data flows. The role also involves coordinating system enhancements with clients and vendors and driving continuous improvements across workflows and controls.

Your main responsibilities

• you support the operational teams (onshore and offshore) across Investment Operations / Middle Office processes (data management, IBOR, trade operations, asset servicing, reconciliations etc.)
• you supervise the operational teams (onshore and offshore) ensuring aligned responsibilities, effective knowledge transfer, high-quality output and adherence to SLAs and controls
• you ensure segragation of duties (SoD) and operational risk controls are maintined across all processes
• you own and lead end-to-end operational configuration and control of key OMS components (portfolio setup and lifecycle, trade workflows, instrument setup, pricing and reference data flows, counterparty and settlement instructions)
• you oordinate with clients & vendors on system enhancements and interface upgrades (incl. close collaboration with OMS platform vendor for change management)
• you repare management reports and KPI dashboards, implement new controls, KPIs and quality standards
• you serve as the second level of escalation in case of issues

Our requirements

• you have 5+ years experience in investment operations/middle-office within asset management, fund administration or custody
• you have practical wide experience with trade lifcycle across asset classes, asset servicing and corporate actions, reconciliations, pricing and data management, SWIFT
• you have ractical experience  in OMS configuration, understadning of OMS functionality and operational data flow, 3rd party trade processing supporting platforms (OMGEO, DTC Trade Suite, MarginSphere, MarkitWire etc.)
• you have a strong knowledge of investment processes, financial instruments and pricing
• you understand market standards and frameworks (incl. UCITS, AIFMD, EMIR, ESMA, KNF etc.)
• you have pracitcal experience collaborating with FO (portfolio managers, traders), Risk, Compliance and 3rd party vendors within asset management
• you are excellent at communication
• you are able to work in fast-paces, high-volume environements
• you speak Polish fluently (C1 level at least)
• you have a good level of English (daily communication with offshore team)

Additional assets

• you know Blackrock Aladdin platform
• you have experience with OMS systems implementation, participation in services / processes transition projects
• you have experience working with offshore team
