We are looking for a CJE/ Business Analyst for our Investments platform who wants to take on the challenge to make our platform ready for the next steps.  Our Investments platform reaches from our Back-end system Europort to our mobile banking app and everything in between.

We are onboarding the next country on our platform. This is just the beginning. Our ambition is to become the investment platform for ING global. Therefore we need to continuously improve our processes to ensure they are suitable for each ING entity. We aim to provide seamless and efficient Investments solutions that meet the diverse needs.

Investments serves ING’s retail, private banking and business banking customers. We operate in a complex and highly regulated value chain with strong competition, rapid technological developments, and high commercial ambitions.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about continuously improving our procedures and reporting. Someone who knows the Investmentsprocesses  and is not thrown off by terms like Settlement, Custodian or Tax reclaim. This position will be in the team Europort & Operations that is responsible for all operational Investments procedures and reporting for NL and BE.

Within Europort & Operations we are cross border responsible for all transaction flows on the Backend platform, reporting and client output to our customers and operational processes. The team exists of Customer Journey Experts and IT engineers, divided over multiple squads. As CJE you are part of the Investments Process Pioneers squad. Together with the Engineering squads you strive to improve the processes you own and keep them compliant.

Your role and responsibilities

  • As member of an agile team you will take on the lead for one or multiple projects to improve our platform or procedures.
  • You take ownership of certain procedures and feel responsible to run them smoothly and improve them.
  • You will engage with stakeholders, gather their input and formulate together with the rest of your team the roadmap.
  • You help to reduce  our time to market, enrich customer journeys, and drive cost savings
  • You actively manage incidents and questions and feel responsibility for the E2E Investmentschain, operational riskmanagement and organization. Together we can make more impact

Furthermore, you have:

  • Current residency in the Netherlands;
  • Like to do stakeholder management: we service both Belgium and Dutch clients. Dutch language skills are a strong benefit;
  • Worked in a complex architectural application landscape. You understand what changes are needed and have the skills to analyze it and create a new solution;
  • A drive for making our investment processes even more STP: you know the operational processes you own and try to improve them continuously. You are the go to person for these processes for Tribe, Sales and CLT;
  • A passion for investments: you know our products and you are willing to put time and energy in increasing your craftmanship in the field of investments;
  • Strong affinity with Business to IT: you will be working at the Back end side of our Investment platform, that means that you need to have an affinity with complex IT landscape crossing multiple Tribes;
  • Very data-savvy. Databases are not new to you and it is an absolute pre if you have at least some basic skills with Oracle SQL;
  • Like to work in a complex environment where a strong growth ambition, complex rules and regulations and IT challenges come together;
  • A digital first mindset and have an idea on how we can develop our products in such a way that processes are simple and STP (Straight-Through Processing);
  • Can handle pressure in case of incident management.
