Product Manager – Reporting (Global CISO)

We are looking for a seasoned Reporting Product Manager to drive the reporting track of our IT Security and Risk metrics — a strategic transformation towards a metrics-based, data-driven risk management model. This role is central to how ING will evidence, manage, and report on IT risk in the future. You will own the reporting vision and execution, from defining meaningful metrics and KRIs to delivering automated, scalable, and actionable reporting solutions that empower stakeholders across the organization. In addition, you will also be responsible for specialized operational reporting needs within Global CISO.

The team
You will be a member of the Global CISO Security Data & Reporting Team, a diverse and international team dedicated to delivering high-quality, actionable reporting across the entire bank. With a broad range of expertise, this team plays a critical role in providing timely, accurate, and relevant cybersecurity reporting that strengthens the bank’s overall security posture.

Whether it's partnering with IT security, risk management, or executive leadership, we ensure that our reporting supports informed decision-making and strengthens the bank’s overall security posture.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Lead the product vision and strategy for IT Security and Risk reporting, ensuring alignment with the broader objectives of Global CISO.
  • Define, prioritize, and deliver metrics and KRIs that reflect ING’s security, reliability, and IT risk posture.
  • Translate regulatory, governance, and business requirements into clear reporting outcomes and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data, and risk teams to deliver automated, scalable reporting solutions that reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by working closely with teams supplying source data and evidence.
  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including roadmap creation, stakeholder communication, backlog prioritization, and definition of done.
  • Support and enhance operational CISO reporting, ensuring timely delivery of key reports and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve reporting capabilities by identifying opportunities for centralization, automation, and expansion of scope.

  • Proven experience as a Product Lead, Product Owner, or Reporting Lead in a data, risk, or security-related domain.
  • Strong understanding of IT risk management frameworks and how metrics support governance, compliance, and assurance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work end-to-end across data pipelines, reporting platforms, and stakeholder ecosystems.
  • Experience in Power BI, data visualization, and automated reporting solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights.
  • A strong delivery mindset — able to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
