Mission

The Relationship Manager initiates, maintains and develops the relationship with clients in the Medium Companies division, legal entities, offering them credit facilities and other banking products and services, helping them achieve their business goals.

About the team

Our Relationship Managers in Targoviste work in a dynamic, collaborative ING environment where agility, ownership, and customer focus drive every interaction—from onboarding and financial analysis to supporting credit applications.

We are also looking for candidates from Ploiesti or Targoviste.

Your day to day

  • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining profitable business relationships with clients in the Medium Companies segment, ensuring that they receive the appropriate banking products and services for their specific needs. In your daily work, you will focus on understanding each client’s business model, identifying opportunities for growth, and supporting them in achieving their financial objectives

  • You will represent and promote the ING brand on the local market, acting as a trusted partner for companies and contributing to strengthening the bank’s presence in the business community

  • You will lead commercial discussions and negotiate terms for new collaborations or for expanding existing partnerships, while continuously monitoring the performance of your customer portfolio

  • Part of your role includes visiting both new and existing customers, gathering relevant information, and documenting the key elements of each interaction

  • You will structure and communicate tailored offers for various products—such as accounts, deposits, and credit facilities—and collaborate with internal teams to obtain the necessary approvals

  • You will conduct financial analyses, assess risks associated with each financed business, and ensure compliance with ING policies. You will work closely with internal departments involved in the credit process, follow market developments, and contribute with ideas for improving products or internal workflows to enhance client experience and operational efficiency

  • Maintains close collaboration with all departments of the bank, regarding the management of credit files and the implementation of agreed credit facilities.

What you bring to the team

  • Good expertise and high skills in sales, negotiation and time management

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the banking field and in a similar position

  • Knowledge and skills for financial analysis; identifies business opportunities on the local market; specialized banking courses; sales and negotiation skills; conflict management skills, credit analysis skills, risk assessment skills

  • Graduate of higher education – specialization in economics

  • English knowledge (spoken and written) - fluent

  • A responsible and cooperative team player, focused on new client acquisitions in order to enlarge the client base, increase ING market share and develop more cross-sell for existing relations

  • Embraces change and is always willing to learn more and open to new professional challenges

  • Knowledge of MS Office, Databases, Spreadsheets.
