Are you a compliance professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, working with data, and driving meaningful change?

We're looking for a Compliance Specialist to join our Integrated Compliance team in Sydney. This unique role offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas of the Compliance function, helping to strengthen compliance risk management capabilities while supporting business growth and transformation.  

As part of the Integrated Compliance team, you'll partner with stakeholders across Compliance and the broader business to enhance processes and controls, deliver insightful reporting and analytics, support strategic initiatives, and contribute to an engaging risk and compliance culture

What you'll do

  • Develop, design, implement and continuously improve Compliance-owned processes and controls.

  • Support and facilitate key Compliance activities.

  • Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of controls and processes.

  • Perform key control testing and report outcomes

  • Analyse data to identify actual and emerging compliance risks.

  • Prepare and present compliance reporting to stakeholders.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and technology.

  • Support change initiatives impacting the Compliance function.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in risk, compliance or control functions within a Banking or Financial Services industry background will be highly regarded

  • Background in Operational Risk, Non-Financial Risk, Compliance or related risk management disciplines, with an understanding of governance, controls and risk frameworks.

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and work effectively across multiple business areas.

  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a genuine curiosity to learn, take ownership and continuously improve processes and outcomes.

  • Strong communication skills, positive energy and a collaborative mindset

  • An enthusiastic and adaptable team player who is keen to grow their career within Risk and Compliance.
