Business Banking is a strategic growth pillar for ING Australia, supporting self-employed businesses, SMEs and Mid-Corporates with seamless, digital-first banking and lending solutions.

As we continue to transform our Business Banking offering, we're looking for an experienced Lending Product Manager to shape and execute our lending strategy, drive innovation, and deliver exceptional customer outcomes across our Digital, Broker and Relationship Banking channels.

This is a unique opportunity to help build a product management capability from the ground up, influence strategy, and work with local and global stakeholders to deliver lending solutions that help Australian businesses thrive.

What you'll do

  • Define and execute the Business Banking lending strategy, roadmap and customer proposition across Digital, Broker and Relationship Banking channels. 

  • Identify growth opportunities using customer insights, market data and commercial analysis. 

  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from proposition development through to delivery and optimisation. 

  • Drive digitalisation, automation and AI-enabled initiatives to improve customer and operational outcomes. 

  • Manage product performance across funnel conversion, growth, profitability, customer engagement and risk ensuring compliant products. 

  • Manage the end-to-end product journey, including application, operational processes and in-life processes.  

What we're looking for

  • Proven product management experience with a track record of delivering successful lending propositions and commercial outcomes. 

  • 5+ years' experience in Business Banking, with excellent knowledge of lending products and customer segments including Sole Traders, SMEs and Mid-Corporates.

  • Exceptional commercial and strategic thinking, with experience managing product performance, growth and profitability. 

  • Experience in designing and optimising end-to-end product processes. 

  • Experience partnering with technology and delivery teams to build and enhance digital customer journeys and optimise funnel conversions. 

  • Strong understanding of credit risk frameworks, lending decisioning and risk appetite settings, with experience translating risk requirements into customer-focused lending products and policies 

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across a complex organisation.
