The Team
At ING, we work every day to keep our people, buildings, and systems safe — both physically and digitally. Our Intelligence team sits right at that intersection. We collect and analyse threat information and are always looking for smarter ways to use that data.

What you'll be working on

  • Centralize and streamline threat‑intelligence data
  • Build a proof‑of‑concept linking external threat feeds to ING’s physical security systems
  • Analyze data to identify patterns, gaps, and emerging risks
  • Develop three concrete use cases to validate your solution
  • Create a risk profile for ING’s physical security infrastructure (2026–2028)
  • Improve governance and risk‑related documentation

How to succeed
We don’t expect you to know everything — but we do expect curiosity, ownership, and the drive to figure things out. You’ll be supported by an experienced Intelligence Expert, while having the freedom to shape your project.

Must‑Have Skills

  • Studying HBO‑ICT (Cyber Security & Cloud or related)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Interest in threat intelligence, automation, or security environments
  • Enjoys turning complex problems into practical solutions

Nice‑to‑Haves

  • Experience with automation or data tools
  • Understanding of threat intelligence concepts
  • Interest in governance or process improvement
  • Familiarity with IT or physical security infrastructure

  • Enjoys improving processes rather than accepting inefficiencies
