Your role & work environment

Within the Transaction Management team (Center of Excellence Europe for liquidity and solvency management), the Treasury Advisor I is mainly responsible for the management of the data and the reporting of transactions executed by ING using its own assets (mortgages, corporate loans…) for the purpose of risk transfer, regulatory capital release, liquidity management or de-leveraging (i.e., Securitization transactions, Credit Claims, OtD, SRT).

As member of Group Treasury – PSM, you participate to providing solutions (i.e., securitized deals, covered bonds and credit claims) aiming to improve ING Belgium’s (and more largely ING Group) key indicators/ratios such as contingent liquidity, solvency, AE levels, etc.

Your key responsibilities

• Participate to the selection of the original portfolio and the updates on the portfolio in line with legal requirements
• Get an understanding of products, business processes and data flows of the originating business unit for each transaction
• Assist in the set-up and organize the servicing of the transactions (replenishments, investor reports, …) post-closing
• Ensure the functional management of the transaction management software(s)
• Collect and prepare data and process rating migration, historical losses, etc.
• Actively propose and participate in projects aimed at improving servicing, reporting and data quality
• Contributes to defining best practices applicable throughout the Group

Transactions being managed by Portfolio and Securitization Management are essential to ING’s credit risk and liquidity management. Therefore, lack of co-ordination, negligence or errors can lead to major negative consequences for ING both from a financial and reputation point of view.

As a Treasury Advisor I within PMS’ Data and Portfolio analysis team you will also need:

• A great ability to work with data
• A Master or a Bachelor degree
• A relevant professional working experience of 2 years within the area of securitization, credit risk management and/or data management/data quality would be an asset
• Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch or French
