Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Vice President to join our Corporate Sector Lending Team of Wholesale Banking.

The responsibility of this team is to provide financing solutions to our clients and our way of working is in very close cooperation with other departments of the bank, leveraging our sector expertise and network.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Vice President you will:

Sit in the driver’s seat and help us offer our customers the best banking experience while always keeping our sustainability goals in mind

Work closely together with team members in Madrid and other locations and with various product specialists across ING

With your excellent communication skills support the cooperation of Corporate Sector Lending with e.g. Syndications, Risk Management, Legal, Capital Structuring & Advisory and Sectors coverage

Use your strong organizational skills and your affinity with numbers to carry out financial analyses, structure transactions, prepare loan offers and review or prepare documentation and negotiations of the legal framework together with clients

Ensure successful end to end execution of transactions from pitching to documentation and, after the transaction has been completed, keep on top of the portfolio management by keeping the quality high and returns within the set framework

With expertise and open ears, develop and coach your team and pass on your holistic knowledge of product and market development to your colleagues

The ideal candidate should be an ambitious professional with a Masters’ degree in Business or a comparable qualification and at least 6 years of previous experience in banking or financial services preferably within a lending or credit risk related environment.

The candidate should have sound skills in financial analysis, negotiating, structuring, implementing lending transactions and negotiating and drafting loan documentation, as well as problem-solving capabilities; and excellent speaking and writing skills in Spanish and English is a must.

In addition, we expect the candidate to have the following key personal skills: (i) strategic thinking skills, with ability to synthesize broad information quickly and cogently; (ii) hard worker with ability to drive multiple activities in parallel; (iii) ability to work collaboratively across functions (team player); (iv) have the ability to earn trust and respect of clients, colleagues and senior management; and (v) enthusiasm and ambition to learn.

Strong knowledge of financial markets.

Estamos buscando un Vicepresidente talentoso y entusiasta  para unirse a nuestro  Equipo de Préstamos al Sector Corporativo de la Banca Mayorista.

La responsabilidad de este equipo es proporcionar soluciones de financiación a nuestros clientes y nuestra forma de trabajar es en estrecha colaboración con otros departamentos del banco, aprovechando nuestra experiencia en el sector y nuestra red.

Sus principales responsabilidades:

Como Vicepresidente, usted:

Siéntese en el asiento del conductor y ayúdenos a ofrecer a nuestros clientes la mejor experiencia bancaria sin perder de vista nuestros objetivos de sostenibilidad

Trabajar en estrecha colaboración con los miembros del equipo en Madrid y otras ubicaciones, así como con varios especialistas en productos de ING.

Con sus excelentes habilidades de comunicación, apoye la cooperación de los préstamos al sector corporativo con, por ejemplo, sindicaciones, gestión de riesgos, legal, estructuración y asesoramiento de capital y cobertura de sectores

Utilice sus fuertes habilidades organizativas y su afinidad con los números para realizar análisis financieros, estructurar transacciones, preparar ofertas de préstamos y revisar o preparar la documentación y las negociaciones del marco legal junto con los clientes

Garantice la ejecución exitosa de las transacciones de principio a fin, desde la presentación hasta la documentación y, una vez que se haya completado la transacción, manténgase al tanto de la gestión de la cartera manteniendo la calidad alta y los rendimientos dentro del marco establecido

Con experiencia y oídos abiertos, desarrolle y asesore a su equipo y transmita su conocimiento holístico del desarrollo de productos y mercados a sus colegas

Además, esperamos que el candidato tenga las siguientes habilidades personales clave: (i) habilidades de pensamiento estratégico, con capacidad para sintetizar información amplia de manera rápida y convincente; (ii) trabajador duro con capacidad para impulsar múltiples actividades en paralelo; (iii) capacidad para trabajar en colaboración entre funciones (jugador de equipo); (iv) tener la capacidad de ganarse la confianza y el respeto de los clientes, colegas y la alta dirección; y (v) entusiasmo y ambición por aprender.
