Delivery Team Lead

You will be part of the Data Automation - Tools & WB Model Data area within Data & Tools department which is part of global COO Risk. This area is also a part of Risk Hub – a business unit which main aim is to shape the future of risk modelling and data science in Poland.

You will become a Delivery Lead and Team Lead of Data Scientists, Data Analysts and Business Analysts. As the Lead in Poland will work closely with other Leads and Product Owners in various locations and collaborate with them how to deliver the maximized value for ING taking into consideration strategy, technology, competencies, quality of our work.

Line Manager: on this position you will report directly to Data Automation - Tools & WB Model Data Product Lead

We are looking for you if:

• You have excellent leadership skills with proven examples in your previous roles – not necessarily holding managerial job title;

• You have experience with project management or/and leading data delivery with proven examples in your previous roles;

• You have experience in creating rodmaps and prioritizing features;

• You are curious about new technology, trends and you can balance the specialists’ need of learning new technology between the company needs and standards,

• You are dedicated to contributing into the company strategy by improving processes and performance within your team to deliver value;

• You are passionate about working with people and developing talents of others make you fulfilled;

• You are proactive and have can-do attitude;

• You have excellent communication skills, writing and verbal, in Polish and in English (fluently) and you are able to adopt the communication style depending on with whom you talk;

• You are not afraid of difficult conversation;

• You know what best-in class recruitment process, effective onboarding, good year evaluation and people management are and you are open to improve them;

• You have background in Data & Analytics.

You will get extra points if:

• You know SAS;

• You have experience with Credit Risk;

• You are fimiliar with Agile.

Your responsibilities:

• Leading the team of Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Business Analysts;

• With your experience in data delivery, you will share knowledge and make sure team members have appropriate competencies and skills needed now and in future;

• Planning, recruiting, onboarding new team members and planning their learning and development paths;

• Make sure that the team results are of the highest quality by coaching, assessing team members and by establishing standards;

• If necessary, you are not afraid to roll-up the sleeves and help your team members;

• Leading delivery according to the high level roadmap and preparing the detailed roadmap itself;

• Tracking the progress of work, solving impediments, preparation of presentations to stakeholders with different profiles (technical, business) and different levels of seniority;

• You will collaborate closely with other departments and teams within the ING and work closely with them to achieve common goals.
