Responsible, directly or through managed resources and third-party providers, for the correct end-to-end management of the processes related to the buying and selling operations arranged by customers on Mutual Funds, Investment Insurance, and Online Trading products offered by ING Bank. Responsible, directly or through managed resources, for the controls to be applied to the Area processes, ensuring their continuity and effectiveness, and compliance with internal and external regulations. Collaborates with Business and Tech Lines to ensure timely resolution of issues reported by customers and product and process change activities, contributing to the definition of requirements for both efficiency and digitalization. Collaborates with Operations Management to ensure the achievement of IBI objectives. Responsible for pursuing compliance with IBI Policies and Procedures, committing to identifying process risks and ensuring their minimization. Responsible for Area improvement. Manages assigned resources, ensuring the delivery of all related activities according to agreed SLAs and quality.


Key Responsibilities:
•    Responsible for the correct execution of control and monitoring activities related to the buying and selling of financial products.
•    Responsible for ensuring the correct management and analysis of Market Abuse alerts according to agreed timelines and guidelines with the 2Lines.
•    Responsible for managing requests submitted by clients or other banks concerning relevant processes.
•    Responsible for the delivery of all relevant processes according to agreed SLAs and quality.
•    Ensures the updating of processes, procedures, and operational manuals based on operational, improvement, or regulatory needs.
•    Ensures the execution of predetermined controls on all relevant processes.
•    Ensures the updating of Area reporting and its improvement, establishing underlying ownerships.
•    Monitors Area KPIs in collaboration with own resources and implements additional ones if deemed necessary. In this context, oversees related risks and provides necessary escalations if required.
•    Intervenes in process and operational activity reviews to improve their effectiveness, efficiency, and limit risks.
•    Requests collaboration from dedicated Areas for managing risks, incidents, operational anomalies, and provides necessary escalations if required to contain Bank risks.
•    Manages assigned resources, handling administrative needs, training, Performance Management, and all related aspects. Also signals the need for new resources or different skills.
•    Responsible for relationships with external suppliers, service contracts, and managing relationships between parties.
•    Manages the Area budget and related contingent needs in collaboration with the dedicated area.
•    Collaborates with dedicated Tribes on processes within the Area's scope.


Educational Qualifications:
•    Degree in economics/finance
•    At least 5 years of experience managing a team
•    At least 5 years of experience in the financial sector


Requirements:
The ideal candidate has a strong team-working and interpersonal relationship attitude. They are precise, curious, and strongly results-oriented. Must have analytical skills, written communication skills, activity planning skills, problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and autonomy.
