The Mission

In ING we like simplicity. Therefore, it is important to have a seamless deployment flow which provides the user with quick feedback, tests the product along the way and deploys it in multiple target environments.

Our team is a platform team which provides Continuous Delivery process as a service with great impact over the entire organization.

We build tooling as ADO templates, Helm Charts and other tools for building, testing and deploying the application in a secure manner with reduced complexity for the user.

Your day to day

Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:

• Identify and design new solutions for achieving CI/CD principles;
• Implement and maintain automated scripts for deployment, testing and monitoring of applications;
• Design, improve, enhance functionalities in the current CI/CD framework along with taking initiatives for new ones;
• Write documentation to reflect implementation;
• Do open sessions with colleagues where new features will be explained;
• Willing and able to provide on-call support and incident remediation if needed.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Experience: minim 4+ years;
• Foreign languages: English (advanced);
• Education: nice to have Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an IT related field;
• Tech stack/ knowledge:

Mandatory:

• Strong experience of CI/CD tools – Azure Devops / Jenkins / GitLab / etc. ;
• Proven knowledge of at least 1 programming /scripting language - python, groovy, shell, powershell, etc. ;
• Experience designing, deploying and managing IaaC, PaaS;
• Hands-on experience using configuration management tools – Ansible / Salt / Chef / etc. ;
• Solid understanding of container provisioning and management – Docker / Kubernetes / Openshift.

Nice to have:

• Cloud certifications, preferred - Azure developer / administrator / devops;
• Kubernetes certifications – CKA / CKAD;
• Past projects where the person was involved – github projects, etc. ;
• Experience working with monitoring tools such as elk / prometheus / datadog / zabbix / etc.
