Network Manager

Your role & work environment 

Based in Luxembourg City, the Network manager oversees the selection, the periodic review and ongoing monitoring of the securities counterparties network of ING Luxembourg and ING Belgium

Your key responsibilities

•  Selection of counterparties with the expertise of the Network Management team of ING NL
• Account openings with the external and internal set-up
• Periodic review of the service levels of the parties (market evolutions, procedural changes, …)
• Annual due diligence requests considering regulations such as MIFID, UCITS and AIFMD 
• Fee negotiations if applicable
• Meetings with counterparties
• Maintenance of all documentation related to the relationship as well as specific operational procedures
•  Best execution controls as required by MIFID regulation
• Collection of solvability ratios that are issued by the ING Group
• Maintenance of the centralized folder with all counterparty data and SSI
• Ad Hoc intervention in case of recurring SLA breach (Transfer Agent, Sub-custodians, cash correspondents)
• Set-up of quarterly Network Management committees
•  ISAE 3402 update / compliance for Network Management
• For nostro relationships, maintenance of folder g/shared related to correspondents (agreement, operational aspects, …)
• In coordination with FMS, selection of new provider as well as the migration
• Cash account opening/closing in compliance with the SOP (Standard of practice) policy
• One nostro implementation

As a Network Manager you will also need:

• Minimum Bac+5 in finance, economy or equivalent
• Or professional experience of at least five years in securities operations management
• Fluent in English and French
• knowledge of securities operations management
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Driven and customer focused, loving to collaborate with different people
• Good analytical skills
• Proven planning & organizational skills to meet the deadlines
• Clear communication skills: written and oral
• Ability to work in an autonomous way and to take initiative
