Mission

This role supports the Finance Team in the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives through scoping, technical implementation and maintenance of Excel-based automations.

Your day to day

  • Identify automation opportunities within Finance Business Advice team by analyzing processes and assessing feasibility of automation

  • Participate in workshops, meetings and offer specialized support on specific process challenges.

  • Constantly look for new ways of doing things more efficient.

  • Support the creation and delivery of training interventions for implemented initiatives

  • Ensure that automations developed are properly documented and compliant with organisational IT Security requirements

  • Develop and maintain automation tools for identified opportunities.

What you bring to the team

  • Ability to understand a business process based on a workflow and to conceptualize it as an automated solution

  • Confident communicator that can explain the technical solution to non-technical audiences and can bridge the gap between technical and non-technical

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a logical, disciplined, and structured approach to documentation and procedures

  • Experience of hands-on implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and solutions

  • Ability to conceptualize what a database should look like in order to be fully reusable and upgradable

  • University Degree in Finance / Economics / IT or related fields

  • MS Excel, Access and/or Power BI, Office365

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

  • Min. 3 years of experience in working as a business analyst, or in similar roles

  • Previous experience working in Finance could be an advantage.
