We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Consumer Engagement manager to join our Cloud Evolution Team Within Cloud&Tech  foundation tribe 

We work in close collaboration with Product Managers, service owners, and key stakeholders from Engineering and Reliability, CISO, Retail Technology, and Banking, among others. Our mission is to ensure that infrastructure services are delivered in an agile, transparent manner and aligned with ING’s strategic objectives. Your key responsibilities:

As a Consumer Engagement Manager you will:

• Advocate for CIO Domains: Represent the interests of CIO domains across Global Infrastructure and Service Providers to ensure their needs and priorities are addressed.

• Drive Strategic Alignment: Foster strong alignment between CIO domains, Global Infrastructure, and key service partners (e.g., E&R, CISO) to support cohesive service delivery.

• Aggregate and Share Insights: Gather feedback from CIO domains and effectively communicate insights across product and service teams to inform continuous improvement.

• Ensure Transparent Communication: Maintain consistent, two-way communication between CIO domains and infrastructure teams to promote transparency, responsiveness, and adaptability.

• Provide Strategic Guidance: Deliver expert advice and education on infrastructure, FinOps, and cloud strategies to support informed decision-making.

• Oversee Portfolio and Program Engagement: Manage portfolios, programs, and relationships with countries and regional initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

• Coordinate Financial Oversight: Handle finance-related matters, including non-standard offerings and specific oversight.

• Lead Thematic Engagement: Implement a 360° consumer engagement model to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to stakeholder management.

• Support Regulatory and Risk Initiatives: Contribute to ongoing regulatory discussions, risk mitigation efforts, program implementations, and other continuous improvement initiatives.

• A strong background in Information Management, Computer Science, or Informatics—either through formal education or extensive hands-on experience.

• Proven experience in technical roles such as Technical Chapter Lead, Feature Engineer, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer, ideally within one of our business domains.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies, IT governance, and enterprise-scale environments.

• The ability to lead technical conversations and make informed decisions on architecture, infrastructure, and application landscapes.

• A solid understanding of application technology, infrastructure, and how they align with business priorities.

• Experience driving initiatives in:

  • Life Cycle Management (LCM) of applications and infrastructure

  • Migrations (e.g., cloud, data center, platform transitions)

  • Risk reduction and technical debt remediation

  • FinOps and cost optimization strategies

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and business perspectives.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s level of working and thinking.

Tus principales responsabilidades:

Como Consumer Engagement Coordinator, tus funciones serán:

• Defender los intereses de los dominios CIO: Representar los intereses de los dominios CIO en toda la infraestructura global y proveedores de servicios para asegurar que sus necesidades y prioridades sean atendidas.

• Impulsar la alineación estratégica: Fomentar una fuerte alineación entre los dominios CIO, la infraestructura global y los socios clave de servicio (por ejemplo, E&R, CISO) para apoyar una entrega de servicios cohesionada.

• Recopilar y compartir información: Recoger feedback de los dominios CIO y comunicar eficazmente los conocimientos a los equipos de producto y servicio para fomentar la mejora continua.

• Garantizar una comunicación transparente: Mantener una comunicación constante y bidireccional entre los dominios CIO y los equipos de infraestructura para promover la transparencia, capacidad de respuesta y adaptabilidad.

• Proporcionar orientación estratégica: Ofrecer asesoramiento experto y formación sobre infraestructura, FinOps y estrategias en la nube para apoyar la toma de decisiones informadas.

• Supervisar la participación en carteras y programas: Gestionar carteras, programas y relaciones con países e iniciativas regionales, asegurando la alineación con los objetivos estratégicos.

• Coordinar la supervisión financiera: Gestionar asuntos relacionados con finanzas, incluidas ofertas no estándar y supervisión específica.

• Liderar la participación temática: Implementar un modelo de participación 360° para garantizar un enfoque integral e integrado en la gestión de personas interesadas.

• Apoyar iniciativas regulatorias y de riesgo: Contribuir a debates regulatorios en curso, esfuerzos de mitigación de riesgos, implementación de programas y otras iniciativas de mejora continua.

¿Qué buscamos?

• Formación sólida en Information Management, Computer Science o Informatics, ya sea a través de estudios formales o experiencia práctica extensa.

• Experiencia demostrada en roles técnicos como Technical Chapter Lead, Solution Architect, SRE o Infrastructure Engineer, idealmente dentro de uno de nuestros dominios de negocio.

• Familiaridad con tecnologías en la nube, gobernanza IT y entornos a escala empresarial.

• Capacidad para liderar conversaciones técnicas y tomar decisiones informadas sobre arquitectura, infraestructura y paisajes de aplicaciones.

• Conocimiento sólido de tecnología de aplicaciones, infraestructura y cómo se alinean con las prioridades del negocio.

• Experiencia liderando iniciativas en:

  • Life Cycle Management (LCM) de aplicaciones e infraestructura

  • Migraciones (por ejemplo, nube, centro de datos, transiciones de plataforma)

  • Reducción de riesgos y remediación de deuda técnica

  • Estrategias de FinOps y optimización de costes

• Excelentes habilidades de gestión de personas interesadas y comunicación, con capacidad para traducir entre perspectivas técnicas y de negocio.

• Nivel de pensamiento y trabajo equivalente a estudios de Grado o Máster.
