AVP – Procure to Pay Process Expert

About the Role  

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional with a unique blend of project management, transition, and operational expertise to lead the successful migration and standardization of Procure to Pay processes from offshore locations to our Manila hub. 

This individual contributor position is pivotal in shaping the future of our global finance operations by ensuring seamless transitions, driving process excellence, and eventually managing day-to-day operations. This role will also play a key role in supporting the Circle Lead/VP of Cost Invoicing and Recharge Services in driving circle initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities  

Transition & Project Management  

- Support the end-to-end transition of P2P processes from offshore countries to the Manila hub  

- Help develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies  

- Ensure knowledge transfer, documentation, and training are completed effectively.

- Monitor progress and resolve issues to ensure smooth go-live and stabilization  

- Support the Circle Lead in overseeing transition milestones and ensuring alignment with broader transformation goals

Process Standardization & Rollout  

- Identify process gaps and opportunities for standardization across geographies  

- Collaborate with global and regional teams to design and implement best-in-class P2P processes  

- Roll out standardized processes to operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency  

- Partner with the Circle Lead to embed standard ways of working and drive adoption across teams

Operations Management (Post-Transition)  

- Take ownership of day-to-day process operations post-transition  

- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and performance metrics  

- Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met  

- Work closely with the Circle Lead to ensure operational excellence and team engagement

Stakeholder & Business Partnering  

- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders across finance, procurement, and business units  

- Build strong relationships with global and regional teams to align on goals and expectations  

- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project and operational performance  

- Support the Circle Lead in managing stakeholder expectations and fostering collaboration

Qualifications & Experience  

- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or related field (MBA is a plus)  

- 5+ years of experience in Procure to Pay operations, with proven success in transitions and project delivery  

- Strong understanding of P2P processes, systems (e.g., Peoplesoft, SAP), and controls  

- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects and lead change in a global environment  

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills  

- Experience working in a shared services or global business services (GBS) environment preferred
