Global M365 Exchange Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert support for Exchange Online environments across multiple domains.
• Maintain and improve email system performance, resolve issues, and ensure reliable service access.
• Collaborate with IT security to implement email security measures and compliance policies.
• Automate deployment processes using PowerShell and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Monitor and implement compliance with security protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and standards.
• Partner with vendors like Microsoft and communicate with product teams to stay ahead of changes.
• Develop long-term improvements in email services by simplifying and strengthening the systems.
• Actively contribute to automation, documentation, and the resolution of email-related incidents.
• Share in the responsibility for solving 3rd line issues and participate in standby service rotations

Key Capabilities/Experience

• Exchange Online Management: Experience in managing Exchange in enterprise-scale environments with multiple email domains.
• Automation Expertise: Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps.
• Security & Compliance: Deep understanding of email security protocols and Microsoft 365 compliance standards.
• Process Knowledge: Familiarity with IT outsourcing and governance across multiple external/internal parties.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve complex issues and continuously improve email systems.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work with global teams, product owners, and external partners.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to compliance, documentation, and quality assurance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of work experience on the related role
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding on different digital workplace tools.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify potential risk and develop effective solutions to mitigate them.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications on M365 related to Exchange Online is a plus.
