The role will focus on driving HUB initiatives under the sustainability priority pillar as we aim to achieve net zero objective by 2030 and drive environmental and social initiatives and mindset of more than 6000 employees in the hub.
The role will also act the SPOC to environmental program and COO Green guild while ensuring that the program objectives are imbedded in the hub practices and ways of working including: processes and business footprint, corporate real estate, learning program, reporting and data quality.
The role is also responsible for developing communication projects and managing relationships with NGOs, as well as coordinating volunteer projects (the "S" in ESG).
Inclusion projects for people with disabilities (DIB – also part of the "S" in ESG).
Carbon footprint reduction projects with targets set by the Group (e.g., CO2 footprint from air travel, car travel, and ING buildings).
Locally relevant CO2 reduction initiatives (e.g., waste management).
Climate resilience projects.
Non-financial data reporting to the Group.
