Job Title:  PMO / Business Manager

(Equivalent to AVP/IC)

Do you want to play an essential role in ensuring the good reputation of ING, and protecting the bank against money laundering and terrorist financing?

Currently we are looking for a committed, ambitious, highly organized, and delivery-oriented PMO / Business Manager for the Retail FCFP (Financial Crime and Fraud Prevention) & CDD (Customer Due Diligence) Services Tribe.

Background

The Retail FCFP & CDD Services Tribe is a dynamic and growing organization within Global FCFP. The tribe is currently focused on improving customer experience and maximizing operational efficiencies, whilst remaining compliant and in control of our risks and processes on a global scale. You will be involved with the continuing development of the Global KYC (Know Your Customer) Digital Service contributing to socially relevant topics such as Anti-Money Laundering, Counter Terrorism Financing, Fraud, Sanctions and their global implementation across 40+ countries, affecting 40 million+ ING customers.


The Retail FCFP & CDD Services Tribe has 4 product areas: Customer Due Diligence, Screening, Data and Retail Operations.

What you’ll be doing

As a PMO / Business Manager, you will organize, facilitate and support one of the Product Areas. You will work very closely with the Product Area Lead on relevant topics, which include product delivery and performance, people and budget

  • You will drive continuous improvements to optimize the functioning of the area. You will take care of assurance and maintenance of the identified business processes within the Area and make recommendations for improvements and potential efficiency gains.
  • You lead projects and/or data gathering and analysis, in coordination with teams within the Product Area and external stakeholders (other global teams, countries, etc.)
  • You are responsible for the QBR (Quarterly Business Review) cycle of the Area. In this regard you ensure timely decision making by facilitating the QBR process inside the Area and you are the linchpin between relevant stakeholders across the different Areas in the Delivery Tribe and the broader Global FCFP Organization.
  • You monitor and track delivery and performance through the preparation of meetings and presentations and maintaining area ceremonies, heartbeat and rituals. This is all in close collaboration with the Area Lead and your business management peers.
  • You will contribute towards the delivery of the quantitative / qualitative budget (Dynamic Plan) and coordinate and launch follow-up actions. You will ensure that management and control information will be consolidated.
  • You are “a spider in the web” of the area that you support and a binding factor.
  • You will coordinate the HR processes of the Area, focusing on, but not limited to sourcing, administration, onboarding and other relevant metrics to run the area effectively.

On top of providing support to your assigned area:

  • As a member of the central PMO team, you will manage events and projects that have a cross-area impact.
  • You will also support the Manila Delivery Tribe Management Team with logistics and administrative matters.

What we are looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience.
  • Proven track record of driving projects and/or process improvements within an Agile environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication; experience working with international teams is preferred.
  • Highly organized; with a structured way of working.
  • Being able to think several steps ahead, linking different activities and understand how they influence and are dependent on one another (analytically strong).
  • Ability to deliver and work on multiple topics at the same time (multi-tasking).
  • Proactive, resourceful, and willing to go the extra mile.
