Organizational context

WB COO Client & Digital Services (C&DS) is responsible for all Payment & Cash Management operational activities along the client life cycle. This reaches from with Client Implementation, through in life Client Services and Product Back Office Operations, to an eventual Client Offboarding. Within WB COO C&DS we are constantly looking for ways to improve our customer’s experience and create efficiencies in the processes. Our Client and Daily Banking Processing team drives the Process improvements towards global standards in a highly digitized and automated way. This team covers different process domains and one of them is Payments.

We are looking for a Global SME in this domain, specifically on Payment inquiries/requests (via Client Services). Most of our client’s service requests are payment inquiries. We have strong ambitions to digitize these so that clients can find the required information online and so that they can self-serve where needed. You will work closely together with the Global Process Lead and other process leads, in and outside your own area.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing end to end process documentation for a specific scope, including WPI and ARIS model updates by getting inputs from relevant teams / stakeholders
  • Support GPL in execution of digitalization and automation of the payment inquiry processes on a global scale
  • Support GPL in continuous process performance review with WB branches, including preparation of process performance summary
  • Identify and support on process improvement changes in the whole chain
  • Involves appropriate stakeholders in process performance reviews, improvement decisions, planning and implementation of process improvements

Who are we looking for

  • You have experience within Payments and understand how to deliver change in this complex stakeholder field at least for 3 years
  • You have a significant track record in process management and improving end-to-end processes (preferably with lean six sigma certification)
  • You are a self-starter and team player
  • You have experience in complex organizations and a bird’s eye view on ING’s business processes and, risks and associated controls
  • Strong analytical, influencing and presentation skills
  • You are professionally sceptic, knowledgeable and solution oriented
  • Emotional resilience and confidence: you adapt easily to new environments, remain calm and continue to perform under pressure
  • Strong stakeholder management across WB business lines and ING locations, you get people on board and ensure necessary buy in
  • You have an academic or master’s degree
  • You have general working experience at least 6 years

Wage (gross)
From 2 168 EUR/month

*By legal requirement we are providing the information about the basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised position. Based on your experience/profile, the final financial conditions will be the subject to discuss and negotiate at the personal interview, however, not less than above mentioned minimum salary component.
