Product Area Lead IT Operations Enablement

The Product Area Lead will manage a small team of product managers, focusing on providing tools and practices for Incident Management and Problem Management. This team is dedicated to the foundational IT operations system, enhancing Service Configuration Management for all digital products and underlying IT elements (digital product taxonomy) using the configuration management data model (IT4IT v3.0 / CSDM). All of this is done in close cooperation with the global process owner.

Team

The Product Area Lead will work closely with its peers in Engineering and Reliability in delivering and operating the product and services of Engineering and Reliability (e.g. Change Enablement, Deployment Management), but also with CISO (Information Security Management) and with COO Tech (e.g. Service Catalogue Management).

The Product Area Lead is responsible for:

  • Determine the strategic direction of the IT Operations Enablement platform together with Head of Resilience, IT Risk and Security.
  • Oversee the tooling and practices for Incident Management & Problem Management and Service Configuration Management, in close cooperation with the global process owner.
  • Able to build relationships and support other processes developed on the platform like portfolio management, operational resilience, and it risk management.
  • Guide and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the Resilience, IT Risk and Security Area and other tribes of Engineering and Reliability to align strategies and ensure cohesive execution of projects.


Requirements

  • 10-15+ years in IT operations or IT management roles.
  • Has knowledge and experience with ServiceNow platform.
  • Knowledge of IT Operations: Agile way of working, IT processes like Incident Management, Problem Management, and IT Service Configuration Management.
  • Has excellent leadership skills.
  • Passion for driving innovation and efficiency within their team.
