A day in the life of a Senior Transaction Services Sales

  • Manage your own TS portfolio of clients, generate new deals with existing clients, as well as with new clients
  • Own end-to-end the pre-lead, pitching and proposal process effectively and efficiently in cooperation with your colleagues in the deal team across various departments and countries
  • Negotiate our solutions and pricing agreements with clients by carefully and transparently balancing client expectations, cost of sales and cost of service, within the Risk appetite of ING
  • Improve and maximize the cross-buy of TS solutions
  • Spot trends in the market, monitor & understand client needs and spread the knowledge & feedback throughout the organisation
  • Create and maintain a close relationship with your clients, keep them informed of key trends
  • Be the face of ING TS in the market, participate to external events
  • Work in close collaboration with your colleagues in Sectors (client coverage), Lending, Client Services and Product management

  • We expect you to

  • As a sales professional, we expect you to
    • network internally; and externally with clients and stakeholders
    • be intimate familiar with the TS products (trade and/or cash: full suite of daily banking solutions across the global network, including Payments & Cash Management, Liquidity Management, Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, Bank guarantees and Letters of Credit)
    • have solid client relationships characterized by mutual respect, understanding and trust
  • You have preferably minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Transaction Services
  • You have a master’s degree in finance/economics/business engineer or have acquainted the relevant knowledge on the job.
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch. French is an advantage.
