Your Tasks

  • Foresight beats hindsight, that’s why we rely on you to build and maintain a robust automation framework in JavaScript that leaves no stone unturned in testing our web-based banking system.
  • Automation? You have a script for that: You design and implement smart UI and API test scripts, spot potential risks in projects before they start and recommend the most suitable patterns and frameworks to use in automation.
  • Diligently, you maintain our test scenarios, thoroughly analyse existing test coverage, extend it where needed – all while promoting best practices in our behaviour-driven development.
  • Naturally, you collaborate closely with colleagues, product managers and developers, helping to push initiatives to completion and happily taking on a leadership role while doing so.

Your Profile

  • Hands-on experience testing multiple commercial applications and building automation for them using Playwright
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, WebdriverIO and REST Assured, with experience creating test frameworks for distributed systems
  • String knowledge of database technologies, CI/CD practices and maintaining test pipelines
  • Solid understanding of testing design patterns (Page Object, Screenplay, Presenter First, etc.) and when to use each appropriately
  • The ability to look outside the box and develop sustainable solutions
  • Very good English, both written and spoken, German is a plus
