he Tribe Daily Banking & Client First, within the Branch Operations & Sales area, is looking for a Data Analyst I. In this role, you will actively contribute to translating our “Together for Progress” strategy into actionable insights for Financial Experts—marking a new chapter in our strategic journey “Banking Made Simple.”

Driven by your passion for
(i) data & reporting,
(ii) customers, and
(iii) branch & digital banking (“Mobile First”),
you will support the successful implementation of our Daily Banking product and customer strategy across both statutory and independent branch networks. You’ll do this through factual reporting, proactive in-depth analysis, and strategic advice.

A Day in the Life of a Data Analyst I

As a Data Analyst I, you will focus on:

·Supporting the implementation of our Daily Banking Mobile Led strategy by building and

maintaining insightful reports focused on our Key Performance Indicators using Cognos or other

platforms.

·Running a daily data process that automatically updates all linked reports.

·Modifying or adding new or updated simple metrics to our data package and process, in close

collaboration with data stakeholders from other product tribes and/or data management.

·Proactively analyzing direct metrics and informing stakeholders, often Customer Journey

Experts (CJEs) or Content Managers.

·Occasionally handling AMI requests to deliver specific reports.

What Makes You Successful

Together with the team, you take responsibility for maximizing the efficiency and continuous availability of data and performance reports related to all ambitions.

·You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science,

Statistics, or a related field—or have at least 3 years of equivalent experience.

·You are fluent in English; Dutch and/or French are a plus.

·You perform sharp analyses based on available data.

·You have 1–2 years of demonstrable experience with data analysis using tools such as SQL,

SAS, Excel, Cognos, Power BI, or Python.

·You know how to translate a business question into analytical questions and provide clear,

visually appealing answers.

·You are a team player within and beyond your team, with a proactive attitude and a sense of

ownership for assigned projects. You are also happy to work 50% of your time at the newly

renovated Marnix office in Brussels.

As a Data Analyst I at Daily Banking & Client First, You Will:

·Play a crucial role in supporting the successful achievement of our commercial growth

objectives in the statutory branch network.

·Develop your expertise in a naturally data-driven and evolving domain.

·Grow both your analytical and project management skills.

·Collaborate with colleagues from the Tribe Daily Banking & Client First, Data Management,

and other product teams.

The Team

The Data Analysts team is responsible for maximizing the impact of the branch network through factual reporting and proactive, in-depth analysis and advice. The team consists of 3 data experts in the roles of data analysts and process managers. They provide Senior Management, Regional and Team Leads, and Financial Experts in our ING branch network with insights to improve daily performance, customer processes, and sales. As part of the Branch Mobile Sales & Business Intelligence domain, the team shares responsibility for strategic development and maximizing customer satisfaction, efficiency, and commercial results at the branch level.
