Mission

As a DevOps Engineer in ING Bank Romania – you will be responsible for the smooth functioning of the operational environments that support application/solution development and deployment, you will deliver support to our stakeholders by providing quality and fast resolutions, involve in fixing production bugs and constantly looking to improve and/or automate our processes and procedures.

Your day to day


•  Provide application support for business banking systems and communicate with stakeholders
•  Writing SQL complex database queries for troubleshooting and support
•  Able to provide support during on-call rotation
•  Diagnosing and resolving technical issues on your own and as part of a team
•  Engage in projects involving the migration of applications in Ing private cloud infrastructure
•  Incident Management:
  -Respond to incidents in a timely and structured manner following SLA's
  -Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
  -Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve high-impact incidents and ensure proper communication and documentation throughout the incident lifecycle.
  -Contribute to post-incident reviews and continuous improvement of incident response processes.
•  When necessary and in accordance with requirements (re)write Windows batch scripts in PowerShell
•  Provide assistance in the annual audit process, which includes the mandatory external audit and occasionally internal audit/CAS, by aiding in the collection and validation of evidence.
•  Operate in full compliance with organizational security and operational procedures.
•  Escalation of incidents to 3rd line support, if needed. Work closely with all parties necessary in order to solve problems
•  Good understanding of ITIL Service Management framework such as Incident and Change processes

What you bring to the team


•  Very good skills on SQL
•  Knowledge of MSSQL, Oracle servers 
•  Knowledge of IIS, MS Services, Windows Event logs
•  Experience with complex projects
•  Strong ability to communicate orally and in writing
•  Minimum 3 years of experience on a similar job
•  Good level of English
•  Autonomy in executing tasks, preparation of advice, and decision making about the implementation
•  Perseverance – you deal with conflicts and setbacks and obtain a good and acceptable end solution

Nice to have
Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, Grafana

Knowledge of Linux
