Mission

As Chapter Lead for QA Automation you will work on multiple and various projects in Cards area, you will implement the testing vision and strategy of Cards Tribe with focus on a developing a strong foundation for testing frameworks and approaches built on cards, pos, terminals, ecommerce or bank systems. You will contribute to developing, improvement, testing and automation of different processes, in relation with business specifications. More than that, you have the opportunity to change the domestic Cards market through innovations finding in ING Bank a proper environment in order to develop your engineering ideas. Besides a passion for IT, Chapter Leads have strong people management skills in order to be an inspirational leader for team members.

Your day to day

  • Lead and mentor a team of 6 QA Engineers and Business Analysts.

  • Ensure proper allocation of team members across ongoing and upcoming projects.

  • Drive the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks for web and mobile applications.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize projects requiring testing or automation.

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable automation solutions.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence within the team.

  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

What you bring to the team

  • Proven experience in leading QA or automation teams.

  • Strong knowledge of at least one programming language: Java or Python (C# is a plus).

  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, and RESTful API testing.

  • Experience in maintaining and evolving test automation frameworks for both web and mobile platforms.

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps is appreciated.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience delivering custom automation solutions.

  • Exposure to project management practices and tools.

  • Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry
