Mission

Regional Manager Debt Portfolio is overall responsible with management of relation and performance of court bailiffs in relation with Bank’s debts from allocated portfolio, representing the Bank and acting to maintain its patrimonial and non – patrimonial interests.

Your day to day

  • Cooperates with other departments (e.g. FO, Lending Tribe, Collection & Recovery) to corelate actions and enable sharing of relevant information to optimize lending processes, from acceptance to closing.
  • Analyzes market evolution and practices related to debt recovery activities through legal processes and formulates proposals to improve performance in recoveries and to corelate with risk indicators.
  • Is responsible for allocated portfolio in forced execution and court bailiffs’ performance, as follows:
    • Has the main role of controlling the activity of Bailiffs, by monitoring their actions, including by making visits to their offices.
    • Collaborates with Legal Department to support the Bank's interests in litigations related to the enforcement process in which it is a party, in order to identify options for optimizing the enforcement process.
    • Performs, monitors, analyzes and interprets various reports on enforcement processes, in accordance with the risk indicators and legal provisions. Synthesize data, evaluate results and recommend actions as appropriate, in consultation with Consumer / Business Debt Portfolio Expert.
    • Assists the bailiffs, from the perspective of the creditor's representative, in the steps and efforts specific to the enforcement process (e.g.: garnishment validation, sharing action), with consultation as appropriate of the Legal Department.
    • Has the role of verifying the correct allocation of the amounts recovered by the bailiffs, in accordance with the legal provisions and procedures of the Bank.

What you bring to the team

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Relevant experience in debts recovery activities.
  • Good understanding of legal aspects related to recovery activities and retail credit risk management.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong ability to effectively use MS Office and main internal systems related to lending and collection activities (Capone, Profile, Credit Platform).
  • Good writing, communications and organizational skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbally.
  • Keen on learning and developing within a credit risk environment.
