Job Description:

Provide support and advise the credit decision process for individual credit transactions and relevant credit portfolios, within the boundaries of established risk appetite statements, and in line with applicable credit policies. Conduct credit risk management and portfolio monitoring in the Acquisition Finance, Technology, Media and Telecom, and Diversified Corporates department sectors. monitor and report on relevant transactions, obligors, and portfolios. Identify industry trends or news events that affect risk, using this to adjust as necessary Watch List, Risk Rating, or Loan Loss Provisioning. Help direct Quarterly Portfolio Review and Watchlist meetings and reports. Provide input on the development of relevant credit risk policies. Align ING New York credit policies and procedures with global frameworks for approval and monitoring of credit exposure. Oversee operational control and execution including ensuring policy compliance and correct interpretation and adaption of policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field and minimum 2 years of banking experience as Manager, Assistant Manager, or related. Experience must include: deal execution and full transaction lifecycle including credit package, decision approval and loan documentation, refinancings, and collateral booking; core financial statements, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Balance Sheet; IFRS/GAAP accounting; corporate and bankruptcy law; regulatory processes affecting lending, capital requirements, and compliance matters; international/local bilateral and syndicated credit facilities; loan drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, and interest and fees including reconciliation reports; securitization warehouse, ABCP conduit financing and ABS Capital markets; and stakeholder management including treasury, agent banks, front office, and risk management functions.
